I'm not expecting a Red goody bag but I would be seriously disappointed at that!

GerrardWinstanley · 11/11/2016 16:53

ASpider Aldi hampers are available to order online from Monday. There's a nice looking one for £54

Theonlyoneiknow · 11/11/2016 17:00

here's a pic. It looks to be a decent quality one but it's not exactly something that can be gifted! there was a second packet I'm with it that had a bronzer and brush. I don't wear bronzer but it looks nice. I also gave a red sub as a gift and hoping she didn't get the same goody bag as me!

Does anyone know where I might get discounts for Jo Malone? Its a friends 40th and I know she likes some of their fragrances so thought I might treat her to a hand wash (or something else cheap!).

Highfivethatfart · 11/11/2016 17:00

Nzou re the selfie sticks, I asked dh for one for Christmas last year.

I had seen a little one that wasnt very sturdy but would have been light to carry, popped into a handbag or holiday bag with no problems.

Dh bought a nice one from Sainsburys (where I had seen the other little one and suggested getting) and it's still in its box. It's much more sturdy and better made but it's just too big to take out and about. We have guests coming on Boxing Day so i might get it out then to see if we can get a picture with us all in as I won't have to carry it anywhere.

The other thing to think about is a little clip on wide angle lens which you can get for a fiver and will show a bit more of the picture in. Not sure how well they work on the selfie side but I think they should work on both!

ASpiderInTheBath · 11/11/2016 17:41

Thanks for the info on the aldi hampers Flowers Unfortunately I think the recipients would turn their noses up at aldi 🙄 Thanks for the suggestion though, sure it will help someone as they do look lovely.

BrollySmolly · 11/11/2016 17:42

Also interested to hear what the marshmallow toasting set is like!

TobleroneBoo · 11/11/2016 17:48

pilko check out temptation gifts. Someone posted about it the other day and they had huge savings on Yankee. I bought some as the deal was ending but next day they had a different deal so worth checking out

Prizepudding · 11/11/2016 17:56

Not sure if it's nationwide but I was in Asda and they had Shopkins chef club smoothie set and waffle set reduced from £12.97 to £7, it was in the reduced section.

RoastieToastieReastie · 11/11/2016 17:57

Bargain for you highfive though, so it met the criteria of the thread Grin .

That red goodie bag definitely not giftable but looked up the anti dandruff stuff which is about £12 or so per product sent so it's a decent quality bag, just not the gift we were expecting. My neom candle shall have to wait!

I'm in Leicestershire!

Carrie76 · 11/11/2016 18:06

My DS (5) has just announced he wants a yokai watch. Neither of us know what they do but he "REALLY wants one from Santa". Are they just a piece of tat, looking at the Smyths catalogue it doesn't seem to be an actual watch. Anyone know anything about them?

margaritasbythesea · 11/11/2016 18:07

Yumyum
Pikachu plush is in the op under eBay.

supermariossister · 11/11/2016 18:13

Anyone any bright ideas for 14 year old daughter main present? Nothing is springing out at me she has a phone/laptop, no bands or similar she wants to see but feeling bad that boys have these wow gifts and she doesn't have much.

PilkoPumpPants · 11/11/2016 18:18

toblerone thank youSmile

yumyumpoppycat · 11/11/2016 18:22

Blush thank you Margarita

yumyumpoppycat · 11/11/2016 18:24

Carrie I am not sure but I think it is similar to Pokemon, it is based on a video game, manga style cartoons.

VotePedroPony · 11/11/2016 18:41

Carrie I have a yo-kai obsessed boy. We have the watch, and yes it's not an actual watch. You can buy packs of medals for 2.99, they have pictures of all the different yo-kai on them and when you put them in the watch they make different sounds.

The Nintendo DS game is really good. We have to strictly ration play time with it or my boy would be on it all day.
