Perhaps more bargainous than intended .... I ordered when the Mumsnet Disney offer was on & bought a Lotso Bear (reduced to £10 ) & had personalisation but I had to pay P&P which I was fine with as noting else I wanted. Should be £13.95 charged to my card but so far only £3.95 (?) - bear arrived this morning & is lovely .

Only negative - came in Disney bag - thank goodness DS is at school & didn't see delivery .

I'm so annoyed with Nintendo. I pre-ordered the mini NES in Sept and thought that getting it from the manufacturer might actually be the quickest way!

IAmAPaleontologist · 14/11/2016 13:24

People waiting for marshmallow sets or thinking of ordering from the naked marshmallow people I had an email explaining that they are working through orders but because of recent publicity they had as many orders in one day as I the whole of November last year. They said if the sets were needed urgently (assume they mean before Christmas) then to email them but otherwise sit tight and you will get a dispatch email when your order is ready. They will be dispatching using parcel force.

Have just ordered Babyliss big hair styler for my mum on lightning deals for £25 not sure if she will like it or if it is a bargain, was going to get it for myself then thought I could get one for my mum too, so then decided to just get it for her and I can buy it from her keep it if she doesnt like it Blush

yumyumpoppycat · 14/11/2016 13:29

bigh hair £25

gigglingHyena · 14/11/2016 13:33

Mammyaround, there are lots of minecraft plush toys on ebay. Just bought an enderman for DS for under £3. Posted from China, so crossing fingers it arrives. There are plently of UK sellers if you want to be sure it makes it in time.

Otherwise Tesco, Asda, Sainsburys and Smyths all have the 7" ones here. I get the impression they are not restocking though, we seem to have a lonely few at each which are the same each time I look.

yumyumpoppycat · 14/11/2016 13:41

Can anyone reccomend a really long strong wrapping paper, pref that I can order online? Have had good double sided stuff from costco before but prob not going to get there this year.

LalaDipsey · 14/11/2016 13:47

Just received my free Red subscription gift and, for me, it's rubbish. Shampoo, conditioner and scalp scrub for people with 'distressed scalps'. My scalp is fine, and can't really give as a gift in case of offence Blush, plus a fake tan and fake tan booster and mitt - and I don't use fake tan! Nice looking face scrub. Never mind - worth a punt for £1!

OhHolyFuck · 14/11/2016 13:50

Got my M&S advent calendar (had to track it through Royal Mail until it delivered and then go and beg for it back!) but it's here now and looks really nice
A bit gutted I've bought it as a gift now!

Fueledwithfairydustandgin · 14/11/2016 14:14

Spiderpants · 14/11/2016 14:17

Can anyone reccommend a wine subscription company/package for my hard to buy for OH, even better if it's discounted

Lapinlapin · 14/11/2016 14:20

La Redoute has £25 off a £50 spend, £50 off £100 or £100 off £200 with code XMAS

Apologies if this has already been mentioned. I know there was a code in some of the earlier threads, but thought I'd post in case this is new. Just had the leaflet through the door.
DC need some new clothes and pyjamas, so going to see what there is!

RoastieToastieReastie · 14/11/2016 14:22

Yumy I like using brown paper with pretty ribbons.

I got my red goodie bag today. I was quite hoping for the shampoo stuff as I do have issues with my scalp and it looked quite good for me so I was disappointed as I got the bronzer and brush, and some body shop stuff which I won't use (some kind of face protector lotion, and some perfume) and not sure who to give it to. I know I'm weird and most people would prefer this to the scalp stuff, oh well!

Ginxed you could do a bloom and wild monthly flower subscription for I think £45 (there's a £10 off code floating about somewhere but I think I forgot to make a note, sorry. That would bring it down to £35 so you could give it with a nice box of chocs or wine?)

Mammy that is a good price. I think I bought dd a very similar one for £5 more.

Anyone who gets th Nintendo and uses it before Christmas please let me have some feedback as to whether it's worth buying for dh (assuming there is availability).

RoastieToastieReastie · 14/11/2016 14:28

Just wait until he sees the finished thing, they look really good! You can also get the dc to do red and green paint hand prints on it for family.

I've used mostly brown paper and shiny ribbons for my wrapping this year and the pressies look great.

pantherfootballforever · 14/11/2016 14:31

Reastie I have a friend in the US who managed to get one (no pre-orders over there so his lovely wife queued for a couple hours to get one for him as most stores only had about 10 each) and he loves it. He has been glued to it all weekend and has loved introducing his daughter to all his old favourites. He says the quality is great and if you can get past the very short controller leads (there are ways around this) then it's definitely worth buying.

I'm still on the look out and have made it my mission to find one!

NaturalBlondeYeahRight · 14/11/2016 14:33

reastie sounds like we got the same RED pack, better than the other stuff I suppose but was hoping for something posher I suppose. I'm going to have to stick a Neom candle on my Christmas list instead.

LalaDipsey · 14/11/2016 14:43

Reastie- I won't get to the post office this week, but if you pm me your address (if you want to) I'll happily send you the dry scalp stuff. It looks good - just not for me - and the least I can do to say thankyou for all the savings over the past couple of years!

BowiesBlueEye · 14/11/2016 14:44
