Hampers - what to put in and where do you get the baskets etc?

Thinking of making our elderly grandparents a small hamper each with some nice bits in but where do you guys get the baskets/cellophane etc? Where's the best/most reasonable in your opinion? And do you think food hampers go down the best or mix it up with few alternative things ie) hand cream for the nans etc? TIA

Wilkinson have small baskets for around £2 and wrapping pack that contains cellophane and paper packing in a seperat packet if that helps

I buy rolls of cellophane from Ebay very cheaply. Have bought some in the past with little white spots that look like snow. That reminds me, I need to buy some more this year.

I have bought baskets from HomeBargains and John Lewis. Last year I bought a crate from Waitrose.

I make a foodie hamper for my parents. I try to buy things which they wouldn't be able to buy from their home town. We live in London so I have in the past combined items from shops they don't have in their city - Harrods food hall things, Harvey Nichols, Fortnums. One year, I did things only from Borough market, another year I did things only from local independent shops.

I try to have a mix of fresh foods with items with a longer shelf life.
