Where's good for getting tree and decorations?

This is the 1st time we will have proper decorations and a tree of our own (1st year in a proper house together, as a family)
We want an artificial tree, about standard size (not a tiny one but not too big), obviously decorations, tinsel and lights, and a fairy on top, and ceiling decorations.
We have a some decorations from when I had a tiny tree at uni, but not many. I don't want a colour scheme, as I prefer a whole mix of everything.
Aside from supermarkets and pound shops, where is the best place to get such things? Especially a tree? I haven't seen one I like anywhere

Depends on your budget. We went to The Range at the weekend and they had loads of lovely trees, lights and decorations for pretty reasonable prices.

We got our 6ft pre-lit artificial tree from Next 2 years ago. Cost £140 (I think) but it's lasted really well, should hopefully get another couple of years out of it!

I am looking for quality decorations aswell. Ours are looking old and tired. And many of them were cheap.

I don't want Harrods, £25 for a snowflake one!! but I do want quite a few different bits to put around the house. Quality, but not too expensive.

Maybe a set? I like silver. And blue lights. I don't want gold and red.

Someone recommended John Lewis. Someone said try the garden centres. Squires?

I want nice stuff, not TOO expensive.

Does anyone have any suggestions please?

M&S decorations are lovely and quite good value in the 3for2 sale.
