Advent calendar for 9 year old boy that isn't Lego?

I have bought my 2 dds make up advents this year and I want to buy ds (9yrs old) a different type of calendar too but I can't find anything for younger kids, especially boys, that isn't Lego.

Unhelpfully, I'm not exactly sure what I'm looking for!
He's into gaming and football primarily.

I looked at the DIY calendars but they will cost quite a bit.

If he's into match attax football cards they do an advent calendar for £20.

He has about 40 million cards already but it will be something nice and a bit different for him rather than the usual dairy milk calendar
