Another Pokemon request! Ds is asking for a Pokemon folder - not one for cards - one to put paper in like a ring binder. I can't find one that isn't extortionate - any ideas?

starrynight19 · 10/11/2016 09:56

20% off at Disney with code 20DJTREAT on spends over £50 think they doing free delivery to. Only on non discounted products

Chocolateteabag · 10/11/2016 10:04

Ordered my M&S calendar at 10am

Was about to checkout at 7am but couldn't use my £25 voucher on it ( fir getting their credit card) as the calendar was already "an offer" so took my bat home for a bit

But then FOMO took hold and I caved and got one

Still have £25 to spend there - but on what? Not surprised profits are down as I can never find anything that fits

What happens if I need to return the things I got with th calendar? Can I get other things to equal the £45 spend??

Howaboutthisone · 10/11/2016 10:05

Sorry if I'm being a bit dim! I'm sure I read a post about book people codes and stacking them? But I can't find it or the codes and am now wondering if I've dreamt it! Would someone mind either confirming that I'm deluded or posting the stackable codes/linking to the post please?

IHeartKingThistle · 10/11/2016 10:09

Yeah the matalan pjs have been in and out of stock. Got DHs and the kids ages ago but had to wait to get mine. I just kept checking for stock every day.

AbleSeamanTitty · 10/11/2016 10:15

Need four presents for 3yo DD3. Ahe's a Peppa pig fan but has 2 older sisters so needs nothing but I need to make the number of presents the same.

She has lots of peppa and george clothing to unwrap, colouring books, happyland bits.

Any more ideas?

CarrotVan · 10/11/2016 10:20

I've asked Matalan about when they'll have stock IHeart

AbleSeaman
Peppa Pig bath stuff
A big box of craft junk - toilet rolls, smaller boxes, plastic bottles plus craft stuff like glue, glitter, crepe paper, tissue paper, pipe cleaners
Jigsaw puzzle
New bed linen

Hadiever · 10/11/2016 10:23

Can anybody tell me what is the deal on the M&S calendar please? I am trying to work out if I need it Grin
Also has anybody bought the £1 vacuum storage bags from the Amazon review club?

Howaboutthisone · 10/11/2016 10:24

Spend £35 on clothing, beauty or home (but not furniture) and get the calendar for £35.

Lapinlapin · 10/11/2016 10:26

Able how about a personalised Peppa pig book? here

My thread year old also likes playmobil. You can get some aimed at this age group.

The Entertainer has got some very cheap (£2.40) children's watches. I've bought a paw patrol one.
here

They've also got Disney princess, Frozen and Finding Dory ones. Mine can't tell the time, but wants to be like older sibling!

kiely32 · 10/11/2016 10:28

Bath bomb cosmetic boxes are on Amazon daily deals again. I bought 4, different ones, last week and they look like fab gifts! I need 8, for nieces xmas pressies, but there is a restriction of 1 of each type per customer, so bought 4 more today. Now thinking my dd would like one too.... and they would make lovely birthday gifts for her friends....

Fingers crossed they go on offer again, I'm pretty sure they did Black Friday last year.

Aworldofmyown · 10/11/2016 10:30

Anyone have a Book People Delivery code?

Also. Debenhams have a large range of Unicorn childrens clothes!!

LostMyRubySlippers · 10/11/2016 10:32

chocolate I had same thing in summer with my vouchers for getting the credit card. Went to outlet first only to discover they couldn't be used there, then tried sale online but not valid.. Then it wouldn't let me buy anything online with them- not sure why!!!! Ended up having to dash to our small local branch to buy something from their limited selection, so was a bit pissed off really..
Can you use them on food/ booze? Get some things that can be put away for Xmas?

LostMyRubySlippers · 10/11/2016 10:36

In fact you def can use them on food as I bought bread & milk to get mine up to the full value

mrslebon · 10/11/2016 10:40

Just ordered the M&S beauty calendar and only spent £25 not £35 to quality. That's because it takes the full price of your basket into account BEFORE any discounts e.g. 3 for 2. So I did 3 for 2 on some toys and 3 for 2 on some knickers and it worked fine. The free cosmetic bags are now sold out :-(

CarrotVan · 10/11/2016 10:51

This looks like good value on Amazon daily deals - spend £20 on Crabtree and Evelyn and get a free hand pampering kit

LookMaAStone · 10/11/2016 10:53

Not a fan of the John Lewis advert either. If kids see it it ruins Father Christmas as the dad is doing the present. The song is wrong, it should have been upbeat and fun. No lovely warm family Xmas feel, they are just left standing in shock not even laughing. Just checked out the merchandise, the toy doesn't look remotely like a boxer!

SpaghettiMeatballs · 10/11/2016 11:01

These bath fizzers are £2 in Sainsbury's. They have Belle and Cinderella too. I thought that was a good price as similar is £6 in boots!

DD loves these in her stocking.

If anyone sees similar but Spider-Man, Minions etc for DS I'd be grateful for the heads up.

CarrotVan · 10/11/2016 11:03

Playmobil advent calendar at £15

IHeartKingThistle · 10/11/2016 11:07

Carrot I asked them too but they never replied! Hope you get some x

Iris1 · 10/11/2016 11:16

Thanks this board I'm nearly done!! Feels good.
Just got the.M&S calendar. Wouldn't have even knew about it if I wasn't always lurking here! Looks great, is it really worth £250 though?!!
Figured I will use a few bits for MIL and SIL as I'm doing them lidded boxes full of stuff, a type of hamper I guess, so could wrap a few bits in nice tissue. Will probably keep most for me!!
Bought DH a hooded dressing gown to get the advent calendar, he's had the same one for about four years and always wanted one with a hood so hopefully he will like this one.

I bought a few bits from GLTC in the end bit couldn't get the codes to stack.

Elc have their 342 on again.

AmyMumsnet · 10/11/2016 11:17

For anyone who gets the twitch today, everything5pounds.com are giving Mumsnetters four items for the price of three with code BUY3GET1FREEMUMS. The offer ends at midnight!

winterisnigh · 10/11/2016 11:22

spagetti love the look of the bath fizzers will look for those later when shop

winterisnigh · 10/11/2016 11:23

If kids see it it ruins Father Christmas as the dad is doing the present

Not seen it but this makes me really cross.

winterisnigh · 10/11/2016 11:25

Couple of you after maxi micro scooters- google der-rollenshop (too tired for proper link). Great German site, quick delivery, although I'm not sure whether the exchange rate will make it worthwhile this year :-(

der-rollenshop.sportkanzler.de/

Yep we got dd scooter here was brilliant fast service and with postage was still about 20 quid cheaper than anywhere I could find in the uk
