Yorkier I got a beano 2016 annual about a month ago from Argos for about 39p but I think it was store pick up only.

Igot there's a 20% gltc voucher around as it was in a catelogue they sent me today but I can't remember off hand what it was. Something like present20 . Would you like me to look it up?

Panther I keep umming and erring about getting the Nintendo thing for my dh too.

roastie don't worry, I've decided GLTC is too pricey anyway! I'm just looking for more stuff to buy that I don't need to, which makes it even less of a bargain doesn't it!

I've pre-ordered the Nintendo Classic Mini for my DH. I've no idea if it'll be good or not so I'm hoping someone will come on and say how fab it will be [hopeful smile]

Here's hoping someone comes along and tells us what to do then Reastie! DH spent his wasted youth on computers and consoles unlike me who spent mine with my head in books! I have no clue whether this is worth buying or not. If I had an alternative I wouldn't take the risk but I have no other ideas - AT ALL!

Where did you pre-order from Eggs? I couldn't see a pre order option on either Amazon or Game online today.

I think with the Nintendo most of the pre-orders were filled by September. I know Argos and Nintendo did pre-order and probably others (came late to the party). No idea how much stock they have kept back for people who couldn't pre order.

Panther I'm awaiting to hear reviews and then if it's in stock it will be fate for me to buy it for dh. My concern is that he will be hooked to it all the time and get dd into it and I'll never see them away from the thing!

Also just a reminder from many threads ago but I realised today I had not received the toddler 'Angel' backpack with reins and Death Star ice cube maker. Neither were expensive. Have raised it with seller and if hear nothing will contact Amazon but I'm guessing I'm not the only one.

Just seen in another thread that Ice Age 4 is currently free to rent & buy on Sky. You get a DVD in the post as well as it being downloaded to your planner so you can watch it and give it away as a present!

I had my other half check out the nintendo (its ok because hes not getting it ) he said it looks really good and to make sure you buy the ac adaptor that isnt included ...i presume thats the plug end?!

Good to know woodwaj. Perhaps I need to do the same as you Reastie and wait for reviews - it'a only another couple days I guess as I presume there will be reviews up pretty quickly. Whether there are any left available by then will be another matter of course!

Just tried to do a pre-order on Game (it would only let me do the console and not the bundle with the extra controller) but when it said 52 days to release and when I got through to the it where I had to input my delivery address it said it would be despatched on 31st Dec 😥

He mini-nes game thingy is not out yet so you may not get any reviews yet. I have pre-ordered from Game a few weeks ago and some places had stopped taking pre-orders so it is going to be v popular

Not sure if it's been done but Argos have a deal on xbox one consoles £179.99 and a free forza racing game. The Xbox I got also has a forza game download to. Not bad.
Also in Argos Skylanders imaginators is £35.99 now with a free pack of Skylanders battlecast cards. Worth it for something free and cheaper price.
