I just wanted to make sure everyone's aware that these are exactly the same game except you start with either the sun or moon Pokémon. Don't buy both games!

I dont think that is true. they are like all of the pokemon games that have 2 versions. they differ in the creatures

Great little trading company have 20% of toys and it's letting you stack the Mumsnet code

If anyone is doing a foodie hamper or wants some cheap adult/child small presents, it's worth checking out the ordinary food aisle in B&M. If you poke around there are some great things that you don't seen in normal supermarkets - at least around here! And they're all a couple of pounds or less.

Things ranged from Guinness sauce for steak (bottle a bit like an HP bottle), Guinness chocolates, pouches with M&M or Milky Way Stars hot chocolate (that include little chocs in), Reeses Pieces Christmas trees, some interesting mustards, ice cream/cup cake sprinkles, tons that look like a big biscuit, filled with that biscuit (several flavours available), some weird and wonderful biscuit and cereal flavours - and more.

And of course there are all the American sweets there too. Things that are a pound there I spotted in the new American sweet section in our new local WH smith costing £2.50.

Theonlyoneiknow · 08/11/2016 19:38

I emailed about Red goody bag and they pointed out it was 28 working days not 4 calender weeks so I still had a few days till I was over due ..

hannahpan · 08/11/2016 19:38

I've been a bit of a lurker on all of these threads and am in awe of you guys (thanks for saving me a fortune so far). Grin

Wondering if anyone knows of an advent calendar for a 13 year old boy. He's the only one in the family to not have a non chocolate one.

Also, New Look are giving a 30% off code if you sign up to their news letter, not sure if it's been said yet.

SpaceKoala · 08/11/2016 19:41

Just about playmobil, I called them yesterday asking about the order status, and they said that due to the fact that they had an unexpected volume of orders due to an illegally placed discount code on a voucher website they had a delay in processing orders

But they confirmed the order would be processed soon and I should expect delivery by the end of the week. so does sound like they are allowing the orders made

Good customer service I think Smile

Igottastartthinkingbee · 08/11/2016 19:41

paddle what's the MN code for

duzz I've only just got my playmobil despatch email this evening. Says I'll have my order on Thursday.

mammyaroundmadness · 08/11/2016 19:48

Bulletpr00f · 08/11/2016 19:59

De-lurking to see if periditalost still wants to sell her pokemon go plus. My son would LOVE it and couldn't care less about packaging.

As i've de lurked, can I warn people about argos lego dimensions prices? They look great with 10% or £5 off, but so far amazon has been cheaper for me everytime.

RJnomore1 · 08/11/2016 20:00

Anyone looking for a teenage girl gift, Debenhams currently have the Urban Decay shadow box with 30% off. It's 12 eye shadows and usually £23 but just now it's £16.10.

I've bought my god daughter one, it's not a huge set but it's lovely and an excellent price. Was out of stock in store but can still be bought online.

They have some other bigger more expensive sets too with 30% off and I got dh Gucci aftershave with 50% off less than £25.

Bulletpr00f · 08/11/2016 20:01

We also use mathletics on samsung and amazon fire tablets, no problems including the class challenges.

imsorryiasked · 08/11/2016 20:01

Also for anyone doing foodie hampers - Tesco (and I assume other supermarkets) have nice presentation tins of Bisto, Paxo and red Oxo Cubes for half price at £2 each.

imsorryiasked · 08/11/2016 20:02

Bisto

Organisednotobsessed · 08/11/2016 20:14

Myfanwy Thanks for the Happy Families books tip from the Works. Tried to find those books everywhere last year and hadn't checked this year. I got the 7 smaller books for £8 set. Smile

SymphonyofShadows · 08/11/2016 20:15

YY to Amazon being cheaper for Lego Dimensions. In fact I was going to order some other small Lego friends and Ninjago sets on 342 at Argos but they were cheaper on Amazon even with paying for the one that would have been free

rogl · 08/11/2016 20:34

Just had an email from halford saying they are doing Black Friday early.. might good for those looking for bikes

Badders123 · 08/11/2016 20:44

An Amazon tip
If you buy something (like Lego dimensions in my case) and a couple of weeks later it goes down in price they will usually refund the difference
They have with me twice last year
But I buy shedloads I'm a good customer of Amazon Grin

pantherfootballforever · 08/11/2016 20:44

I know I asked this a month or two ago on an older thread but I am still no closer to knowing whether I should buy this or not.

Any techy people (or even better retro techy people), able to tell me if this Nintendo Classic Mini will be worth searching for or will it be a ton of crap?

if DH doesn't get this he is getting an iTunes voucher
