Where are you all finding the free ice age DVD?

Catanddogmake6 · 08/11/2016 23:52

RJ if you pay for Sky TV it is from them. Go into Sky planner, Sky store and then Ice Age is there, click on it, it downloads and they will send the DVD. You can do it online with your account details.

You and me both Reastie I've taken refuge in the Christmas threads where everything is nice and glowy

ItsNiceItsDifferentItsUnusual · 09/11/2016 06:41

It is absolutely shocking. I feel quite sick.

Igottastartthinkingbee · 09/11/2016 06:49

Unbelievable. 2016 has been an absolute shocker.

Fueledwithfairydustandgin · 09/11/2016 06:50

Looking for ideas for a present for 1.5yr old boy. Already got a tractor ted dvd so just want to spend £5 absolute max. The other kids will have something to play with and worried he will feel left out

Fueledwithfairydustandgin · 09/11/2016 06:52

Please let's not turn this lovely sparkly thread into a scary place (like the rest of the world) my vote is for no mention of the T word

Organisednotobsessed · 09/11/2016 07:01

Morning all. Has anyone had any experience ordering from Fruugo please? They have a really good offer on a Gore cycling jacket for DH but I've never ordered from them before.

T word? La la la I can't hear anything but Christmas chatter.

Fueledwithfairydustandgin · 09/11/2016 07:04

Obviously when I said T word I meant tinsel Wink

nickdrakeslovechild · 09/11/2016 07:29

I am hiding in the Christmas topics all day.
I did an audit of all my presents yesterday and as normal thanks to you guys I have bought far to much. But I have dome some research and there is a new foodbank/Soup kitchen run by the salvation army nearby so I am doing to take some things to there.

patchesmcp · 09/11/2016 07:41

I was in Home Bargains yesterday and they had Pairs in Pears game for £1.99. It's currently £6 on Amazon.

sherbertdibdab · 09/11/2016 07:43

What a fine morning to read nothing but Christmas threads... there have been a few posts about the happy families books, the book people were doing a set of 10 for £10 and it comes with a nice bag.
Today they have £5 off a £30 spend with WINTER30
Also if you have DC who like Sylvanian Families and haven't come across the Brambly Hedge series they would make a lovely gift, the illustrations are beautiful.

RoastieToastieReastie · 09/11/2016 07:45

Fuelled how about a toy tractor to play with to go with the DVD or a farm/tractor based wooden puzzle?

Patches that is an amazing price. I paid £6 on Amazon for mine and that was a good price then.

And with this post let there be no more mention of the world and let us stay in our happy tinsel bubble

DECK THE HILLS WITH BOUGHSOME OF HOLLY LALALALALALAAÀAAA

I still need ideas for my aunty... I'm stumped! Anyone got any suggestions for a mid 50s lady who when asked says oh I like anything!!! (I love her dearly but she's a pain 😂)

sherbertdibdab · 09/11/2016 07:52

admiral what about an afternoon tea voucher for somewhere, something you could do together and wouldn't accumulate more stuff?

LikeSilver · 09/11/2016 08:00

I'm nearly done - yay! - but DS's stocking is very bare. Help please! He's almost 2 and loves animals, diggers, tractors, books, duplo. I already have a set of mini Thomas books, some stickers and some milkybar buttons. Any ideas? Any bargainous mini Duplo sets about?

ItsNiceItsDifferentItsUnusual · 09/11/2016 08:08

Likesilver how about one of the Usborne snap sets? They sell them on Amazon and have a trucks and diggers version.

I have bought my ds who will be 3 a dinosaur projector torch from the Natural History Museum. Also available on Amazon.

A little Thomas train? One of the little Thomas pocket library books?

Last year I got ds a set of toy cars - you know, the little small metal ones. He still plays with them lots.
