Hi all, figured it was time to hit this thread since my dc's have started their xmas lists and included are £100+ of Build a Bear items Shock
I'm praying someone can tell me there's a discount code available or likely to be one soon. I've signed up to the mailing list but had no luck in my search for a code so far.
Thanks for the threads so far, I'm off to scour them SmileFlowers

LaylaTheMiddleAgedWitch · 06/11/2016 20:46

Checking in. Thanks for the new thread Reastie and thank you for the bargain ideas ladies Smile.

Admiral that is very sweet.

Flop that is very good advice. My dh actively enjoys setting up playmobil and he and dd were nice and quiet for quite a while for Christmas a few years ago setting up the school, so for us it's given in boxes. I, however, am rubbish at these things and just can't do it!

Ordered Pokemon lot 144 and they haven't arrived :( I have to open a PayPal claim as seller is not responding to anything. Gutted. Really wanted them for an advent calendar but won't be refunded for 11 days. Did anyone find a UK seller?

Batbear · 06/11/2016 21:01

admiral that's lovely. I am grateful DS1 is only asking for 1 thing from Santa!

Balletgirlmum · 06/11/2016 21:05

I've had a couple of requests from dd today.

One is for Lancombe Tresor perfume which isn't going to be al all bargainous.

frauleinsallybowles · 06/11/2016 21:29

yumyumpoppycat · 06/11/2016 21:39

PS I am not sure how much it was in costco as was ignoring her cheeky but sensible suggestion I buy it there and save it for christmas !

Haudyerwheesht · 06/11/2016 21:49

Help oh wise ones. I have a 10 year old boy to buy a birthday present for. It's one of ds's best friends - have ordered him something for £5 so happy to spend another £15 or so. He likes Pokemon and football. Last year I got him stuff from his favourite team, he has a lot of the Pokemon tins etc already. Ds is zero use...

FlopIsMyParentingGuru · 06/11/2016 22:04

reastie I'll be sad when the DC grow out of playmobil. A glass of wine, Christmas sentimentalism on the radio or TV and playmobil construction and I'm happy!

AdmiralCLingus · 06/11/2016 22:05

I've just discovered a set of famous five books for adults on amazon. The titles are "five give up the booze" "five go on a strategy away day" and "five on Brexit island". Only £3.49 each, might be a good sticking filler for someone who loved the original series!

unicornsarenotjustforchristmas · 06/11/2016 22:07

admiral I hope that whatever you do you do not buy your dd a mr frosty! Just so in 20years time she can moan how she always asked for one but never got it just like me and everyone else I know

Trudee · 06/11/2016 22:20

That's great thanks woodwaj Flowers

AdmiralCLingus · 06/11/2016 22:20

I most definitely will not be buying one!! Have you seen the price of that smug bastard?! (I never got one as a kid either! Did ANYONE actually own one?!)

ElzBelz · 06/11/2016 22:25

Haudyerwheesht · 06/11/2016 22:56

Kerrierr · 06/11/2016 23:17

neddle · 06/11/2016 23:18

There's a giant camel on a lightning deal atm. It's 73cm so that's what 30 inches - bigger than small child, surely?

neddle · 06/11/2016 23:18

Oops- it's £30 right now.

yumyumpoppycat · 06/11/2016 23:21

other things 10 year old boy might like, lego star wars (some good prices at argos esp if 3 for 2 ing), smiggle stuff (surprised but apparently even year 7 boys still like stationary!), books - new david walliams is out, bop it
