I have googled but everything seems a bit old for him. Anybody know of one that would be suitable for an almost 5 year old?

He is keen to see what it looks like inside!!

Are you near a Tiger store?

They have a foam one at the moment. They might also sell them online (website name = flying tiger)

This says from age 7 - but is just a labelled soft foam brain www.learningresources.co.uk/product/soft+foam+cross-section+brain+model.do

Or there is a human body 'Toob' with lots of organs in it imagido.co.uk/collections/safari-toobs-bags/products/safari-human-organs-toob

Get a brain jelly mould, they are in most shops now for halloween.

That ikea one is brilliant, I may have to buy them for ds and dh!

Don't worry too much about him being too young. If he's interested, get him something like the foam brain in travel mad's first link. My 6 year old has had hours of fun with something like this. Embrace his curiosity!

I would also get the usborne book 'see inside your head' :)

Persuade him he wants something else!

Thanks everyone, there are some great links here! They are definitely a better than ds's suggestion - he was hoping to find a dead person so he could look in their brain ShockShock
