I've got myself a reputation with DSS for doing brilliant stockings, but now he's 17 I'm starting to run out of ideas. Anyone else fancy exchanging lists?

Previous years have included:

  • Obscure/amusingly named foreign sweets
  • USB chargers- extra long/extendable/light up/bright colours
  • Portable phone charger
  • Touch screen gloves
  • Erasable roller ball pens
  • Slushy cup
  • Hair product
  • Miniature fragrance
  • Haribo
  • Pringles
  • Personalised Nutella jar
  • Giant packet Jaffa cakes
  • Xbox Live points

Tanya Burr 12 day advent calendar is now reduced to £15 at superdrug. I've bought one to open and add 12 wee TB make up things to dds stocking.

Watching with interest.

DS1 (14) is easy, he has a couple of books, a magazine subscription, a Starbucks giftcard, smellies, puncture repair kit and some sweets.

DS2 (12) is much harder. He is in that in between age - not quite a teen but not a child either. He doesn't like sport. His hobbies are drama, orchestra and hanging out in the public library. He likes Shakespeare and castles. I've got him some books, sweets and smellies (although he doesn't really like washing) but past that I'm stuck. Any ideas gratefully accepted!

insan1tyscartching what do your teens like to watch on the TV or at the cinema?
I've bought graphic novels like the walking dead, Lord of the rings, Marvel(dead pool) and adventure time - it depends what they like really. There's loads of stuff on amazon to choose from including anime.

Qwertee do some cool t-shirts if your teens aren't into labels.

myyoyo · 02/11/2016 23:35

For older teens maybe?! here

JemimaMuddledUp · 03/11/2016 06:06

Remus we don't really separate "main" and "stocking" so there is a bit of a crossover. They don't have a little stocking specifically for bits. But they have a big present (eg DS2 is getting a laptop this year) and then they have "extras" - books, smellies, sweets etc which I tend to refer to as "stocking fillers".

I have found one extra for DS2 - tickets to the RSC Live Broadcast of The Tempest at the beginning of January.

NoahVale · 03/11/2016 06:34
