I don't normally cook Christmas lunch so I'm a bit new to it all. It will just be me, DP and my mum.
Turkey is ordered so that's fine, but I'm dreading the competitive dash around the supermarket a few days before. What can I get in advance to save the hassle? Sausages wrapped in bacon surely will be fine, what else?
I'm just doing a traditional turkey dinner, with smoked salmon and pate for starter, and mince pies for dessert. I could make the mince pies in advance and freeze them too I guess?
Presumably smoked salmon won't freeze. What about pate? Any tips to make the run up a bit easier would be very gratefully received!
