1st one. Second looks like a rip off mumble from Happy Feet, third is awesome but perhaps a bit babyish.

PoppyPicklesPenguin · 25/10/2016 16:58

I've met number 3, he is lovely :)

PoppyPicklesPenguin · 25/10/2016 17:01

This little fella also lives with us but he is currently out of stock :(

The 1st one .

Namechangenurseryconcerns · 25/10/2016 17:04

I like the 2nd one

Francescaestee · 25/10/2016 17:05

3rd my little one has got one and loves it. She calls it mummy peanut pingu. Plus jelly cat is the best x

PelvicFloorClenchReminder · 25/10/2016 17:07

Get all three, then they won't be lonely and can huddle together. It's the only option really.

GerundTheBehemoth · 25/10/2016 17:09

1 and 2 are based on real penguins (adult king or emperor and baby emperor respectively). 3 is made up. That may or may not matter to the recipient. It would have mattered hugely to me when I was four Grin

Howyoualldoworkme · 25/10/2016 17:13

I can tell you that the first penguin is quite large but absolutely full of character. In fact we bought him to be our University Library mascot. He is adored far and wide and goes to conferences all over the place, reducing sane librarians to children wanting to cuddle him.
He'd be a lovely choice Smile

MadHattersWineParty · 25/10/2016 19:45

I said number one has character Wink

CatsCantFlyFast · 25/10/2016 19:45

We have the third one and it's lovely. Either way, not the second one

HungryHorace · 25/10/2016 19:47

I've bought the first one for DD this year. I hope she likes him! 😀

MummyTheTramEngine · 26/10/2016 06:57

All three it is then!

My 5 year old declared the first - I like the big fat one!

YouMeanYouForgotCranberriesToo · 26/10/2016 08:29

For a baby or toddler I'd get number 3, for a 4 year old I'd get number 1. Having said that, jellycat do feel amazing, so maybe I'd fo with that!

MissWimpyDimple · 26/10/2016 08:33

Number 1 is great. We have something like that but with a baby and it's gorgeous Smile

Avebury · 26/10/2016 08:42

If the first one is Melissa and Doug then he is very soft and strokeable but not very cuddly if that makes sense

LittleReindeerwithcloggson · 26/10/2016 09:32

Showed my 7 year old who has just added number 1 to her Christmas list!

PelvicFloorClenchReminder · 26/10/2016 09:38

Hurrah! A full flock of penguins Grin

OSETmum · 26/10/2016 10:59

1 and 2: mum/dad and baby!

Freezingwinter · 26/10/2016 11:28

If you do want the first Melissa and Doug one, he's 35% off on Tk maxx online

I'd definitely go on a safari to Debenhams and John Lewis.

I'd go with 1 if the boy has more "scientific" interests, but 3 if he really likes cuddly toys.
