As the title says really.

So far all I know he wants is an extra controller for his PS4 I promise he's older than 18 he just doesn't believe it himself yet

Thanks for all your responses - I have been inspired by the tickets idea and I've booked me him to see Impractical Jokers at the O2 in January.

Just to find him some sticking fillers now I suppose!

So far I've got a Game of Thrones t-shirt for him to wear in bed. I'll find him some pyjama bottoms to go with it. New pants.

I find him impossible to buy for.

WhoKnowsWhereTheTimeG0es · 16/10/2016 10:03

Impossible here too, he prefers to choose his own clothes, doesn't use toiletries apart from shampoo, deodorant and shaving gel and tends to buy stuff for his hobbies as he needs it. I bought him a solar phone charger for his birthday, but he really doesn't want or need any more techy stuff at the moment. I'm thinking tickets for a day out or similar.

MrsDilligaf · 16/10/2016 10:09

We're buying a Bluetooth speaker for ourselves for Christmas so he's just getting a stocking (probably spend about £30 or so)

To be honest he's a bloody pain to buy for because he never wants anything so he just has bits and bobs in his stocking although if I forgot the Ferrero Rocher there would be a riot!

Oldraver · 16/10/2016 10:45

MyBread..where did you get the collectors LOTR's books ?

Just in case they are not one of the 30 odd OH already has

MyBreadIsEggy · 16/10/2016 16:23

Oldraver I got his Harry Potter ones on eBay last year, so I'll be looking there first again this year!

HalloToJasonIsaacs · 16/10/2016 16:26

Enormous Lego Technic model

m0therofdragons · 16/10/2016 16:29

My PS4 bargain is birthday/Christmas/celebrate his promotion present all in one and only because they were down to £150 in Tesco.

gemdrop84 · 16/10/2016 16:33

So far I've got him a rare LP, he started collecting records and listens to them every day, a jar of whiskey and cola humbugs (check out Holly's Lollies for alcoholic lollies/sweets!) some guitar cleaner spray, a star wars usb stick.
No idea what else I will get but I'll panic buy a few more items nearer the time!

jobrum · 16/10/2016 16:39

Another one going for ps4. I know he'd like one but already has a working ps3 so ut will be a really frivolous treat. And I have no idea what else to get! A few years ago there were three Christmases in a row where I got him really, really good presents. Now I'm all out of ideas!

SymphonyofShadows · 16/10/2016 17:03

I saw the perfect overcoat online at Atom Retro but it was in the sale and they had sold out of his size. I'm out of ideas now but it will be something 'rude boy' in style as that is how he dresses.

gillybeanz · 16/10/2016 17:05

nothing, can't afford it this year, very frugal Christmas.

foursillybeans · 16/10/2016 17:09

Best present I ever got him was a flying lesson. Totally out of the blue and he loved it more than any other present or item I have bought him in 20 years. It was not as extravagant as you would think if you don't buy all of as much of the other 'stuff' that is often bought like chocolates, aftershave, gadgets, books.

Thingvellir · 16/10/2016 17:14

We are moving house to our forever home the week before xmas so DH will be getting a fish tank this year - he's longed for one for years, but as we've been moving about, then living in a flat it wasn't possible. He will be very happy with it I hope 😀

Juanbablo · 16/10/2016 17:26

We are doing each other a stocking and our budget is £20 each. I haven't started it yet but will probably contain toiletries, novelty items and chocolate!

jobrum · 17/10/2016 12:51

Ooooh, flying lessons. Dh would love that. I think. That is something to look into, great idea to steal!

Elland · 17/10/2016 12:54

He's getting a newborn

TippiNoodlegruder · 17/10/2016 12:57

Topical, I wrapped dh's earlier! He has a basket of hand made beard grooming stuff (not handmade by me I might add), a couple of tshirts, new socks and boxers (this is tradition) and two games for his console. I'm really happy with it all and I'm confident he will be too. He always spoils me at Christmas and my birthday and this year I'm able to treat him the same.

peppercold · 17/10/2016 13:13

cats was that a typo? Or do Superdrug actually sell jumpers? Grin

AmyAmoeba · 17/10/2016 19:56

Can't believe there's been no mention of cornerstone razors Grin

mintthins · 17/10/2016 20:02

Ellend I planned to give DH one of those a few years ago - DD had other plans though and came the month previous for his birthday instead!

NorfolkEnchance · 17/10/2016 20:04

PS4 virtual reality headset, camera, ps move controller. Virtual reality games. Converse, joggers, 2 x hoodies. Massive bar of personalised chocolate. That's for his birthday as well as Christmas.

ChipInTheSugar · 17/10/2016 20:09

I'm looking at this Spicery gift - he loves cooking.
An Audrey Hepburn DVD.
Maybe bike-related stuff
Maybe a jumper
Maybe a calendar with photos of places we've been since we started dating.

What are you buying your DP/DH this year?
PassTheMead · 17/10/2016 20:45

Junji Ito graphic novel
Howls Moving Castle Book
Cooking with Coolio book
Original Godzilla dvd
Box of hotsauces
Little lego kit

Hope he'll be happy with that :)

OldBeanbagz · 17/10/2016 20:52

DH is getting nothing as we're going on holiday at Christmas. Luckily he has a birthday early in the New Year and he'll be getting a picture.
