Book with Christmas theme for 7 year old

Hi every year I like to get the children a Christmas themed book but I am stuck for the eldest!
Has anyone got any suggestions of a Christmas theme - more the time of year it is set kind of thing - book for a seven year which involves no pink or princesses?

Also any thoughts on DVDs?

You would need to read it to your daughter but Holly and Ivy by rumer godden is lovely. You will need tissues for you at the end (even though it is happy!)

I saw a new one in Asda today by the guy from McFly, Tom something. It's a chapter book about a Christmas dragon or something. I didn't have time to look properly but I'm going to have a proper look for DS who's also 7 next time I'm there.

No it's called Christmasaurus, just looked on Amazon. I was close with dragon though hey 😂.

Thanks for suggestions ... Spoke with ds and we are going with Osetmum's suggestion. He is annoyed he has to wait until December the first now. But hey it gives us plenty of time to finish the BFG! Ds2 is happy with the Christmas bear. Just have to decide on a DVD now!
