We want to find a tablet for ds1 (almost 5) for Christmas. Any good deals about? Any to avoid?
Thanks!

Amazon Fire kids
Sturdy case 2 year no quibble warranty and comes with a years free Amazon kids subscription which surprisingly is brilliant, hundreds of books, apps and videos....bought dd 5 one last year from JL on their Black Friday thing. Bargain.

Only would the kids subscription be too babyish for a 9 year old?

TheSkyesTheLimit · 28/09/2016 13:15

Mind I ask what you paid for it on JL black fri?

Maybe some of it a little young but it goes up to 12. I think once you set up and put in age it updates stuff for their age. At least I think that's how it works. Heaps of free apps though which you can get anyway.
It's great as a first tablet

Only1scoop · 28/09/2016 13:22

From memory I think it went down to 69.99 we were really happy with that!!

We got Amazon fire kids in the summer for £50 each, they put them on offer a lot. The kids subscription thing would probably be a bit young it you can lock down an adult profile anyway.

Also if you want just a fire tablet without case and kids stuff they are 49.99
Just bought dad one
His first tablet too at 81 Smile
