I want to try make my own wreath this year but have no real idea on how apart from a few instructions on Google!

Few questions
Do they last as long as shop brought wreaths?
Is it too early to start making one now, I.e will the branches go funny before Christmas?
How do you stop the twigs and branches rotting?

ThanksGrin.

Staffordshire Wildlife Trust do wreath making classes. Maybe a wildlife trust near to you does the same?

I made one last year from holly. Wear thick gloves if you choose holly! It lasted for at least six weeks, although I only made it a few weeks before Christmas. I used a wreath ring and florists wire that I bought on amazon.

Depends which kind of branches. Any greenery won't stay very green. Mine generally look good (ish) for one week, ok for the second then just about for the third.
