Advent Calenders for older boys

Looking for ideas for a advent calender for ds11 he usually has the lego star wars one. But wondered if there are any good alternatives?

Does he collect cards - pokemon, match attak that sort of thing. I made one - got 24 envelopes attached them to a board with stickers numbered 1-24.

A bit nearer the time Oxfam do a Divine chocolate advent calendar with a traditional advent picture but not too ott. The chocolate is lovely, it's not 'trendy' but my ds has been ok with it for last 2 years (14 now) as it's a sign he's growing up.
