Cheap Christmas gifts

Sod it, joining the Xmas bandwagon!

Single parent, single wage!
Put waaaaayyy too much on credit card last year that I'll still be paying until death probably 😄

Apart from my DS who will have the bulk of my Xmas spends on him. Have lots of people family etc to buy for.

I want to be cheap as possible but not crappy.

I also manage a team and I always get them a little gift each. For this year I thought of a little 'goody' bag each. I can buy those individual face masks in packs of 6 that I can throw in. Was thinking a scented candle and other mini things.

I also thought I could do the same for extended family. Any ideas? Anything good and cheap I can buy many of to split between bags?

Bit different from the usual boring smelly gift set etc.

Yankee do a Christmas sampler box (in asda here) for £6, 6 mini Christmas candles. I've got that, miniature bottle of wine / fizz (one glass size) and box of green &blacks miniature choc bars (10 in a box, often on 3 boxes for £10 at Christmas) which I've divided up between cellophane bags for teachers gifts previously (when dc1&2 were in infants and had 80 gazillion teaching assistants as well as teacher per class Grin)

Do your team love stationery? (I work in teaching, and it is like crack to us guys).
If so, Poundland do surprisingly pretty notebooks and diaries, which I have often gone for for my team.
Also Wilkos do some fun stationery - little packs of really pretty mini gel-pens, for example, for about a pound.
While the target audience is probably 13 year olds or similar, I and my colleagues bloody love this sort of stuff!

Moll - your cake sounds lovely for a team treat. Would you mind sharing the recipe?

Or get a beauty advent calendar (eg. M&s one, £25 last year) for the team, they take in turns opening it. Could be fun.
