Next summer we will have 2 nearly 3 year old (twins) and 1 4.5 year old. We'll be doing a huge car journey (north UK to Italy) and thinking it might be worth getting a tablet (or 2...or even 3!) as emergency back up to keep them entertained. Would the kindle fire be suitable? We just want something where they can play simple games and watch TV. Does the charge last a while? Wpuld we need some sort of monthly subscription (Amazon prime etc) to do this?
