I have ordered the roller coaster. Bit of a gamble. Hoping it's ok for a 9 year old girl.

TheImprobableGirl · 28/08/2016 08:27

Just a thought, I have a nigh on brand new travel cot and mattress (mothercare) that I was planning to get rid of. I struggle with the groups as I don't have Facebook- but if you are anywhere near Worcester and expecting extra tiny guests at Christmas, someone is more than welcome to have it!! used once ever because inlaws thought I would travel and visit more

TheImprobableGirl · 28/08/2016 08:28

For free obviously Grin

DownHereInTheHorridHouse · 28/08/2016 08:34

Did someone say the Boden gift vouchers were starting again, where they send you them randomly? If so, do they come hidden on a catalogue (I've been throwing them out!) or by email? Thank you!

Methenyouplus4 · 28/08/2016 08:44

Down- mine is usually both post and email then email reminders if I haven't used it so you shouldn't miss it. I'm a bit gutted that I forgot to use my last one (set aside a night to go online and pick something then fell asleep on bed after reading to toddler).

BanoffeePieIsMyFave · 28/08/2016 08:50

methenyou this wooden click clack track from sainsburys is lovely. It's £10 but they often have it on offer at 1/3 off, or if you can hold out until their toy sale it should be 1/2 price - I picked up a couple last year for friends kids. My DS has had endless fun with his. ELC do a very similar one for £18

WuTangFlan · 28/08/2016 08:52

Lego airport on Amazon £5 cheaper than anywhere else and £25 off rrp here

Also some good Terraria bits:
Plush skeletron £3
Deluxe Enemy set 41% off

woodwaj · 28/08/2016 08:58

interactive unicorn £5.99

I also saw online at Tesco that they are offering an extra 1000 points when you spend £60 on lego!

Methenyouplus4 · 28/08/2016 09:05

Banoffee-Fab idea. When is Sainsburys toy sale usually?

LavateLasManos · 28/08/2016 09:07

The Knex rollercoaster box is 38cm lengthways, 28 cm lengthways and just over 5cm thick (just measured itBlush)

BrollySmolly · 28/08/2016 09:07

Crafty - I have a 9 year old boy, who would also love a camera, so I will start hunting too!

DownHereInTheHorridHouse · 28/08/2016 09:08

Thanks methenyou!

Methenyouplus4 · 28/08/2016 09:09

Topcashback question- I followed the link to spend £10 at George (Asda) and get £10 cashback. I did this, it said 'cash pending'. Yesterday I collected the parcel but it still says pending- how long does it usually take to clear?

WuTangFlan · 28/08/2016 09:12

Thanks for the unicorn link Woodwaj!

Whoever was after a cat, that's also reduced cat

BanoffeePieIsMyFave · 28/08/2016 09:28

I'm not sure exactly methenyou - I think it was end of October last year iirc. I'm pretty sure there was a heads up beforehand on these threads Grin

woodwaj · 28/08/2016 09:29

I think the sainsburys sale is around October but im sure someone else will have a better idea!

I dont use topcashback i use quidco is it much better as im having loads of problems with quidco at the moment. Nothing is tracking and the website constantly crashes.

LavateLasManos · 28/08/2016 09:41

Isn't the Sainsbury's toy sale the Wednesday in the half term?

lifelongfrugaleer · 28/08/2016 09:42

Been on holiday so the shopping can begin. Will catch up 2 and 3 later

MyGreenSofa · 28/08/2016 09:46

Methenyou - I think everything takes several weeks to become payable on top cash back. If you click on the transaction in your accounts it should say estimated payable: x weeks. I got a buggy from kiddicare and that's one of their 'faster paying' sites but says 5 weeks til payable.

Whatdoesaduckdo · 28/08/2016 09:52

Sainsburys toys sale usually starts the Wednesday before hallowe'en so I have booked the morning of 26 October off work

DownHereInTheHorridHouse · 28/08/2016 09:53

Some cheap Cath Kidston PJs on ASOS - for example these are half price bottoms at £13, and you could add a cheap plain t-shirt:

www.asos.com/cath-kidston/cath-kidston-lace-hearts-pyjama-bottom/prod/pgeproduct.aspx?iid=6295098&clr=Red&SearchQuery=cath+kidston&pgesize=7&pge=0&totalstyles=7&gridsize=4&gridrow=1&gridcolumn=1

All ASOS sale stuff has extra 10% off too with MOREPLEASE until Tuesday at 8am I think.

dancemom · 28/08/2016 09:56

Place marking - got dds birthday next month then shopping can commence!

Whatdoesaduckdo · 28/08/2016 10:03

Gift for men
For anyone that missed the prequel thread I can recommend the cornerstone razor sets - you get a handle for free - which you can personalise with 3 initials and then buy blades - it's a subscription box but you can cancel whenever. Delivery is free

My husband has used his now for about 6 weeks and says it's a really good shave - he's usually a strictly Gillette man.

If you use my referral link you can get it for £4 (£10 off) and I get £10 off my next delivery

VoldemortsNipple · 28/08/2016 10:10

Thanks Downhere. I'm nowhere near unfortunately. I have a friend who has just finished with a steriliser and bottle maker though so we may be okay in that department.

torthecatlady · 28/08/2016 10:10

Methenyou - as others have said, tcb does normally take a few weeks to credit the account. I think it's to stop people buying an item, claiming the cash back and returning the item, but keeping the cash back!
