Argos are selling children's Trespass coats off cheaply - less than half price. Would make a great Christmas gift, though I've snapped one up for DD to wear as soon as our delightful Scottish weather changes!

Girls padded pink parka was £39.99 now only £11.99.

Girls padded navy coat was £39.99 now £12.59.

Girls 3-in-1 purple jacket was £39.99 now £15.99.

Tesco Direct have the Thomas and friends mega bloks hidden treasure adventure set for £9.49 atm in the bank holiday sale. Prices from £19.99 and up everywhere else.

VinoTime · 28/08/2016 05:11

Oh, and thank you littlemagic for the K'Nex roller coaster set! Bargain at £10 and I know a little boy who will absolutely love it! Smile

VinoTime · 28/08/2016 05:45

Sylvanian Families Beechwood Hall with figures and furniture is down to £47.49 on Amazon. CCC have the lowest price sitting at £47.23 back in November 2015. It's actually very good value - the little TV they've included with the set is usually around the £7-8 mark alone!

Pairs in pears word game is down to £5.65 (normally £14.99). We've loved playing Bananagrams and these look ideal for younger children. Reviews are excellent.

Lego Disney Frozen Arendelle castle is down to £33.29 from £49.99. CCC say the lowest has been £29.06 on 25th July this year.

VinoTime · 28/08/2016 05:49

Collectors Edition Real Techniques deluxe brush set only £11.99 with free postage - normally £29.99.

VinoTime · 28/08/2016 06:02

Anyone a fan of Elemis products and the like? Time to Spa have some offers on.

3 for 2 on full sized products using code AUG342
3 free travel sized products when you spend £65 or more using code ELE3AUG
Save 10% on your order when you sign up to their newsletter

I don't know if the codes stack.

Their outlet also has some good savings.

VinoTime · 28/08/2016 06:21

Any Clint Eastwood fans? Eight movie Blu-ray boxset for £13.99. CCC have it listed at £59.99 at it's highest price.

Averages out at £1.75 per movie - and they're Blu-ray discs which makes them extremely good value.

HungryHorace · 28/08/2016 07:16

I just got the blu ray box set of all 4 Ice Age films, plus a bonus short film of Mammoth Christmas for £13.99 from Zavvi.

I then used discount code WELCOME to take 10% off that, so it came down to £12.59. It was free delivery too.

Plus I went through Quidco to get cashback!

DD's just discoveed Ice Age and loves it. Smile

woodwaj · 28/08/2016 07:29

Bargain hunters, i need your help! I need to replace my carseat as some muppet drove into me. I am struggling to find a like for like replacement (without a discount) i can get it from Kiddicare, john lewis, m&p or mothercare. Can anyone save the day. Its an eye watering £375.

SideOrderofChip · 28/08/2016 07:33

Wood won't your insurance pay?? Mine did

HungryHorace · 28/08/2016 07:41

Your insurance (well, the other driver's) will pay for that. Let your insurance know you have a seat to replace and ask if they want you to buy first and claim it back or if they'll send a voucher.

HungryHorace · 28/08/2016 07:42

What seat is it?

scrappydappydoo · 28/08/2016 07:45

Thank you for whoever recommended tescos for the little live pet turtles - got two for £6.50 each. Really pleased!
I'm tempted by the rollercoaster but don't know if I want to start another toy collection seeing as we are over run with Lego, playmobil etc. How small is the box?
(and place marking on this thread Grin)

Methenyouplus4 · 28/08/2016 07:54

Really need presents for two 1 year old boy (can walk).

For first I ideally want to spend £20-25 but wanting something (or a couple of thingd)that looks about £50. Family loves branded goods/plastic toys etc. Maybe a first tablet/ Thomas thing etc?

Second family are opposite. Want to spend around £10 and they prefer traditional toys so maybe something wooden, a spinning top etc?

woodwaj · 28/08/2016 07:54

Im going through my solicitors. For some reason the insurers passed it on to them and and because i had a load of problems with my premiums going up i was more than happy to close the case. It actually works out ok as my parents have my son during the week and they are struggling getting him in and out of the car so they are going to use the old one for occasional use as its better than theirs. I have the maxicosi axiss isize

craftymadam · 28/08/2016 07:55

Also just ordered the roller coaster - it looks fab and my 6 year old will love it! Currently looking at the K'new Combat crew 5 in 1 too and the Ferris Wheel!! Does anyone have them? I know the feeling Scrappy! But my youngest boy really loves K'nex and its something his big brother wasn't really in to so it's nice for him to have his own collection of something.
I'm looking for a good camera for a 9 year old boy. Any recommendations? Also any thoughts as to when I should buy it?

woodwaj · 28/08/2016 07:59

Methenyou our 1 year old has a spinning top and he loves it. We got in from sainsburys and im sure it was much less than a tenner. Melissa and doug things would prob go down a treat too though

GinAndSonic · 28/08/2016 08:03

Vold - you're not in Aberdeen/shire are you? I have a steriliser I'm getting rid of (boxed) and probably a whole lot of baby things.
