No ideas really this year. DS already has a good bike and a kindle.

I am thinking:

Technic Lego
Green machine 3 wheeler go kart

Not all of these obviously- just 'big' presents in the ideas pot.

What are other 6yo boys having?

Big lego set (Prison/Train), remote control car/hexbugs.

Football shirt from the local team (last seasons so not a small fortune like this seasons)
Stickbots I think there called which are little men you use to create stop motion animation using an app on phone/tablet.

Of course anything Nerf will be popular.

IIRC my lot got vtech video/digital camera thingies at about that age, and they loved them. They were 4, 6 and 8 I think, and they played with them for years.
