Wobblebeans · 11/08/2016 10:56

I'll be getting dd1 the rest of the horrid Henry books that she wants to complete her collection

Shopkins

Some earings (she had her ears pierced a couple of weeks ago and wants some)

A jewellery case for said earings that she has her eye on from Claire's

Some nice stationary and a furry note pad from Claire's

We're moving her into her own bedroom in a few weeks time so we'll be getting her a rug to go in there (it's laminate flooring)

It's dd2 (4) and dd3 (who turns 2 a month before Christmas) that I'm stuck for ideas on Confused

CocoaBum · 11/08/2016 11:02

She has asked for a laptop Confused

EmGee · 11/08/2016 20:19

So far I have got my (will be just 7 at Christmas) the following:

Djeco art set (with felt tip pens)
Nail art kit (Galt)
Ariel mermaid dress up with wig
M&D deluxe magic set as linked upthread
A Barbie 'Chelsea' doll
Books
Various craft kits that I bought on sale

Am a bit stuck for other ideas so will follow this thread! She will no doubt have some ideas nearer the time but she is quite young for her age. It's also her birthday the week before Christmas.

daisydalrymple · 11/08/2016 22:23

It's update the bike year here, so that's her main pressie, but other ideas I have on the list are binoculars, lava lamp, spy stuff, shopkins, mini cluedo shuffle game (I keep a list going as always get asked for ideas from relatives, plenty of great suggestions on here thanks).

backinschool · 11/08/2016 22:48

DD is turning 7 soon so I'm trying to think of birthday and xmas ideas for us plus grandparents/aunts and uncles. I am thinking about:

CD Player
Disco lights/disco ball
blopens
spirograph
fairy garden
paper aeroplane kit
Maybe rollerskates???
Playmobil pool
Game of Life

Youranus - dd2 (4yo) will love that spider habitat. That is going straight on her wishlist!

disneymum3 · 11/08/2016 22:54

A kindle,
Some heelys,
And a Harry potter wand.
Is the list I was given

svenwhen · 12/08/2016 09:17

Monster high stuff
Shopkins
Pogo stick is great idea, adding that to my list

ColintheCrow · 12/08/2016 09:40

DD 7 wants the new DC hero girls dolls mainly (all six of them 😮)

I have her put away...
Lego
Sew and knit craft set (less than half price in Argos)
Jewellery
Some Playmobil bits
Miss Chatterbox bag and pencil case (also less than half price in Argos)
Various little bits of stationery and kitten stickers.

She wants Lelli Kelly's too but we'll see on that one.

ColintheCrow · 12/08/2016 09:41

Ooh spider looks fab... DS and DD would love that.

allthingsred · 12/08/2016 09:45

Last year my 7 yo got
Tablet
Lava lamp
Candy floss maker
Those Russian dolls that stack onside one another.
Craft bits
Fairy tale hairdresser books which she loves.

The candy floss maker is a huge hit
& she loves her tablet

youngestisapsycho · 12/08/2016 09:48

The Top Model books are good... my DD loves doing the designs in them and drawing all the clothes.

Rainbowdash88 · 12/08/2016 09:52

My DD is 8yr old & so far her list consists of
More Hama beads (big hit last year!)
Vtech secret diary
Shopkins
Selfie mic
And after watching a few YouTube videos she's now asked for one of the Twister dance/hip hop/ rave machine things.
She's also very much into practicing her gymnastic style moves so last year was a foldable gymnastic style mat from ikea which has been worth every penny and gets used daily. Smile

mumbathing · 12/08/2016 20:25

I have a step-dd who's 7. She doesn't like toys but will do arty stuff and play games so the list is

Game of life
Pompom wow
Scoubidou
Teepee from Hobbycraft

augustwashout · 12/08/2016 20:30

what does the spider habitat actually do Confused

ColintheCrow · 13/08/2016 05:50

YouTube it... the spider can be set to scuttle around the box or set to move faster in open spaces.

trixymalixy · 15/08/2016 17:09

DD was 7 this week. The biggest hits seem to be a flutterbye fairy, books and a candy floss maker.

daisydalrymple · 15/08/2016 18:15

Thanks trixy, my dd will love that fairy!

RueDeDay · 20/08/2016 19:00

Main gift is going to be a maxi micro scooter

Letustryagain · 20/08/2016 19:13

DD is 7 and she has asked for an iPod. I don't think it will actually be an iPod but a different make so that we can download tunes from other places.

Other than that she has some clothes, some book sets from the Book People and we're going to Harry Potter Studios (for the second time this year) in December so she will likely see something there that I can sneak back in and get her...

She has also got into proper jewellery recently so planning to get her a nice silver necklace and a little silver ring.

Letustryagain · 20/08/2016 19:15

Oh also games!! She loves them. I definitely recommend 'Dobble' - in fact I would recommend that to everyone!! It's a fantastic game and everyone in our family loves it, from DD right up to Grandparents! Smile

For Xmas we've got her Harry Potter Trivial Pursuit and Labyrinth.

FramptonRose · 20/08/2016 19:19

My DD who will turn 8 just after Christmas has asked for Heelies (which I hate, so not sure yet)
Other than that smiggles stuff, other stationary bits and pieces.
She is hard, not really into dolls or toys etc X

Catanddogmake6 · 20/08/2016 23:20

Smiggle definitely goes down well with all the 7 year olds I know (it's like catnip). Sharpie pens were also a craze (which is so annoying as they don't wash out well), along with colouring books. DD1 is hugely into Lego. Fairies still popular (including the never ending series of Rainbow Fairies). Clothes becoming popular and handbags. Then Kindle and iPod.

DesperatelySeeking2016 · 21/08/2016 11:23

I have just ordered the Barbie stage and a rock star doll. We are thinking about getting her an Amazon Fire and then it will probably be shopkins, happy place and twozies! She would quite like a wedding dress design thing that she has seen on you tube but I don't know what it is so will struggle!!!
