What are your xmas traditions

This will be my pfb ds first xmas this year, I am insanely excited, I love xmas! I want to have special traditions alongside the usual milk and mince pie for Santa, the xmas movie marathon (hello White Christmas!) he will remember and look forward to year after year.
What are the xmas traditions you have done with your family or new ones that happened when you had a family of your own. I'm going to be hosting xmas this year (but will not be making custard under any circumstances ) and I really want it to be special this year.

I love this post !!!!! All these stories prove what I keep telling people ,,, christmas is a season not a day !!!!! Feeling very festive now haha

Another tradition of ours is the game of Christmas
load up the car with family, everyone has candy canes / mince pies and hot chocolate (travel cups and not very hot) drive around neighboring towns and villages and shout Christmas every time you see a decorated house. Gets loud and silly but you get to see loads of brilliant lights and decorations.

Most points wins a little prize but no one ever seems to win as you lose count and forget to keep score.

Think DS is a bit to old for that now though

Sorry helloconfidence been away for a while and yes people sometimes comment it's weird we have traditions with no kids... We won't be having any either so they can lump it, but I love Christmas and it wouldn't be the same without our traditions.
