Thanks so much for the scalextric tips! Hadn't considered a remote controlled car as alternative. Going to take a look at them all now Smile

candykane25 · 09/08/2016 12:21

My peppa pig rocket arrived, it's brilliant.

BanoffeePieIsMyFave · 09/08/2016 13:53

Quadcopter mini drone with LEDs, £7.24 free delivery. It has pretty good reviews unlike a lot of the small drones I've looked at

MooPointCowsOpinion · 09/08/2016 14:25

Also a buzz light year reduced to £14, never seen it this cheap!

Festive Lights has 20% off everything for 72 hours - no code required. I got the connectable lights and hanging accessories to do the outside of my house last year and can recommend them. Go via topcashback for quite a generous cash back too.

I'm looking for a pencil case for dd(4). Something not too big, with a zip, and personalised either with a name or initial. Wanting to spend less than £5-6 if possible!

RoastieToastieReastie · 09/08/2016 17:17

Half way through already, I wonder if we can eat last year's record for thread numbers although I have no idea how ,any we got through

Smyths have up to 25% off Fisher Price

itmustbemyage · 09/08/2016 17:48

Banoffee thanks for the Studio link with the personalised Christmas decorations. I really liked them, so I tried to order them and a bunch of other stuff but when I tried to register as a new account my basket emptied as if by magic . I then went back and filled my basket again and again tried to order and again the basket contents disappeared. I order a lot on-line so I don't think I was doing anything wrong? Any suggestions?
I couldn't face having to search for all the things I wanted again so that I could order over the phone and when I tried to call the customer services I was left hanging on the phone for ages, until I gave up, - I've sent an e-mail to complain.
On the upside I have saved myself a considerable amount of money by not buying the stuff I wantedSmile

BanoffeePieIsMyFave · 09/08/2016 17:53

Sorry itmustbemyage no suggestions though the site was a little temperamental!!

NotPennysBoat what about Personalised pencil case £4.99 with free delivery using code 057

woodwaj · 09/08/2016 17:54

25% off all toot toot at ocado plus you can stack it with this code which is £20 off a £60 spend for new customers only.

Not restricted to toot toot just a good deal!

BanoffeePieIsMyFave · 09/08/2016 17:55

Thinking back itmustbemyage I'm pretty sure I had to refill my basket after registering

BanoffeePieIsMyFave · 09/08/2016 18:04

mine craft core player survival pack £7.50
Lego mine craft the farm £15.95

Badders123 · 09/08/2016 18:06

I was in Lakeland today and if there are any Star Wars fans out there or parties on the horizon then they had star wars cake toms and cookie cutters from £2-5
Thought they looked ace but had spent up by that point!

itmustbemyage · 09/08/2016 18:08

Thanks Banoffee I'm glad it wasn't just me! I have had a reply to my e-mail asking me lots of technical questions (implying my computer was at fault - it's a work one so it's fine) and suggesting I order over the phone, I'll think about it overnight and see if I still really like the stuff enough to persist but I'm still appreciative of your link.

CocoaBum · 09/08/2016 18:22

I got this KNEX nerf type gun for £7.50 in store at Sainsburys earlier. it's got reviews on Amazon.

Link is Ocado, as I can't find it on sainsbo online!

FireflyGirl · 09/08/2016 18:40

I wouldn't recommend Studio at all - I've never actually had anything delivered from them, despite placing 3 orders.

The last time, as pp, I couldn't get the site to work so ordered over the telephone. 3 personalised items, which had to be done separately.

3 weeks later, I got a letter regarding my account, that the items were out of stock. Funny how the lady didn't mention it on the phone for any of the 3 items I individually ordered! I've washed my hands of them, which is a shame because they do nice products. I just can't be doing with the hassle!

DesperatelySeeking2016 · 09/08/2016 18:40

I managed to spend enough to get free delivery on the allthingsbrightonbeautiful site- thanks banoffee!

VinoTime · 09/08/2016 19:15

A few silly wee bits that I've found on Amazon:

Mini wooden Christmas train decoration - £2.98

Cheaper version of Pie Face Splat Game - £5.99

Pretty scarfs from £1.40

Swear tin or fart tin for £2.99 as an Amazon 'add on'.

Horse and pony sticker book - £1.74

Horse necklace and horse hair clips both for £1.80 each.

Christmas Monopoly GrinGrinGrin I'm keeping an eye out for the price dropping, as it's currently £26.95 Shock

Whataboutwhathuh · 09/08/2016 19:21

The monopoly was £14.29 in April according to camelcamelcamel so well worth setting a price alert.

mumbathing · 09/08/2016 19:24
