Vinotime - I love the idea of the Christmas monopoly will sit tight in a hope that it drops in price.

FeelingSmurfy · 09/08/2016 21:56

Christmas bedding ordered from studio which is lucky because we only had 2 Christmas sets per bed along with a few other bits

The have swimming sets reduced to £5 for a character bag, plain but personalised with name towel and either armbands or goggles

FeelingSmurfy · 09/08/2016 22:15

3 for £12 on the Harry Potter adult colouring book range on amazon

itmustbemyage · 09/08/2016 22:17

Thanks LancashireTea I ordered a couple of lovely scarves from Lisa Angel one for DM and one maybe for a friend or me I was very impressed with free delivery with no minimum order value.

itmustbemyage · 09/08/2016 22:20

Thanks Firefly for the feedback I think I'll forget about Studio. Sooo many bargains to be had, thanks to this lovely thread.

FeelingSmurfy · 09/08/2016 22:29

If I'm ordering a lot I generally open in new windows and leave them open after adding to bag. That way they are all ready if I need to add it again, it's a precaution mainly because I shop then go through topcashback and open it in a new window that I then check out in

I logged in to my account and then checked out and it was all still in my basket

If you fancy giving it a third go then that's what I would advise, leave the pages open and log in before you try to check out

itmustbemyage · 09/08/2016 22:33

Thanks for the suggestion FeelingSmurfy

Pokemon Badges

Hope the link works.

To be honest there is probably cheaper but I was getting a bit of eBay rage so picked a decent seeming seller and just clicked buy. Not the bargain hunter way. Blush.

This seller sent quickly - arrived in 11 days! Packaged well so the case was perfect - some others sellers had feedback complaining about destroyed boxes.

I actually gave my 11 year old this today and he was properly over the moon with them, so I can definitely recommend them for other Pokemon fans.

Lunar1 · 10/08/2016 07:46

Thanks ovo, just ordered some badges.

SideOrderofChip · 10/08/2016 07:59

Amazon just screwed me over with the beat bo!! I ordered one for me and one for a friend. Amazon just dispatched.

i managed to cancel one but the bank is holding the money and the other one was dispatched.

I didn't have the money this month. I have £40 for a week. Going to go cry now. Bastards Sad Angry

(i dont normally order stuff when i dont have the money. But got the email update at 11pm and they dispatched at 4am. so no chance to cancel)

Allhallowseve · 10/08/2016 08:17

Ooh I love this thread, have lurked for years!
Quick question on the mermaid blankets. DDs love mermaids and a relative sent them swim tails as a gift. I then got stung for almost £30 import duty Shock. As they come from China, are there any additional charges or is the price on the site the price you pay?
I also have a challenge for all you brilliant bargain finders. DSis has got into camping and really wants a Coleman Comfort dual air chamber double airbed. Amazon had them for £17.99 + delivery a few weeks ago and I dithered, they are now up to about £37. When will I learn?! If anyone can find it for less I'd be very grateful.
Off to do real life shopping today so will report back with any finds.

Methenyouplus4 · 10/08/2016 08:36

Argh! I fell off the thread! Panic over.

SideOrderofChip · 10/08/2016 08:38

beady i didn't get stung for anything

Oreocrumbs · 10/08/2016 08:40

I ordered 2 mermaid blankets (one after the other) and have had no additional charges beadyboo.

TheSkyIsAwake · 10/08/2016 08:52

Thanks everyone that's posted the Pokemon bargains. I've ordered pikachu, gym badges and a cap.

candykane25 · 10/08/2016 09:00

Beady the item has to be marked as a gift - it it isn't customs will charge.
This happened to me with relatives sending Christmas gifts from Canada. I think you can refused to pay it and it gets sent back but then of course you have no gift,

Whataboutwhathuh · 10/08/2016 09:04

Side - yes I got the email about the beatbo (I also had a thread baby in September last year, he's walking and trying to talk, how?!) thankfully I have the money but I really feel for you. It was so sudden and there was no time to cancel as you say. I was grateful it wasn't coming till October for budgeting and I'm sure most people were too.
