Looks like the Lisa Angel outlet has some nice grown up bargains on it, such as scarves etc. Useful for sisters and the like.

snowgirl1 · 09/08/2016 09:17

birchygoo it might be worth having a look on ebay for a secondhand balance bike - we bought one from ebay for DD and it was immaculate.

GardenWorm · 09/08/2016 09:24

Can anyone recommend roller skates for a 5yr old?
Also is scaletrix a bit too much for a 3yr old? If so what's similar but more suitable?
Don't mind if they're on the pricey side as I reckon there's just about enough weeks left before Crimbo to find a bargain Grin
Thank you!

MrsBrent · 09/08/2016 09:34

They do a junior scalextric and quick build which are good. But I think probably too much for a 3 year old, I'd have thought they would just squeeze it hard and shoot the car off the first corner.
That said my 4 year old loves it and is quite good (with the normal one) but he's 4 going on 5.
Hawkins bizarre normally do good deals on Scalextric. There is a good remote control car that goes in water as well as on land it's the nikko vaporizR. It's easy to control but also a 'proper' remote control and a good name.

Hi Garren we got this for our DS who was 3 last Christmas www.argos.co.uk/m/static/Product/partNumber/9075146.htm

He loved it and it's got two little hand held controllers that were really easy for him to use.

IBelieveInPink · 09/08/2016 09:39

birchygoo just spotted this, half price... Not sure if it's what you are looking for?

Garden, John Lewis have a scalextruc type thing in their toy clearance, we have it and DD 3 can play it. Obvs the cars fall off the track all the time but they do on scalextruc too.

Gardenworm scalextric do a mariokart version which my 5 year old loves. They so fly off but it's easier than the full size one. I think ours was from smyths for about £50.
