Gifts for awkward adult

Does anyone have any gift ideas for awkward males or females?

This year I'm struggling for my Dad. He has no hobbies (unless drinking too much counts ). Every item of clothing I buy him gets taken back or regifted. He doesn't read, not technically minded at all, doesn't like music.

Last year I bought him a hot tub for a weekend in his garden which he loved but I'm majorly skint this year so only have £25 to play with.

Any ideas much appreciated (they might do DH as well who is just as awkward )

I've just adopted a vine for my hard to buy for dads birthday, went down well. Also previously bought a case of unusual ale.

If he likes drinking is there a nicer than normal bottle of booze you could give?

Or if he liked the hot tub is there some sort of accessory you could get?

What about some sort of brewery tour or something? Although my dad is exactly the same and I refuse to buy him alcohol-related gifts now as I want no part in him drinking himself to death. Would a nice hamper work?

Thanks for suggestions so far. I'm the same as you puzzled I want no part in him drinking himself to death so trying to think of something that's not alcohol. The hot tub was just for a weekend so he doesn't have it otherwise that would have been great!!

I struggle for gift ideas every year for my dad. If he liked the hot tub what about a groupon deal for a spa day. Some just offer access to the spa and lunch for around £20. All of the spas i've been to allow men. Or perhaps a day out at the birds of prey places or brewery? Again im sure near christmas there will be good deals.

Is there a magazine subscription he'd like? Not sure which one you could get if he doesn't have any hobbies but if he watches sports or likes reading about history there are lots to choose from.
