To prevent the dining room being repainted in garish colours we have had to throw away some 'Mess Free' (yeah right) paints, which were basically a tube of paint with a brush attached to the end.

And some Chad Valley cheerleader pompoms which have shed half there tassles already and we only took them out of the packaging.....this morning!

I would;nt mind if it was some of the cheap bits and bobs I bought to fill her stocking etc, but these were gifts from other people and I am guesing they spent a bit more than 99p on them!

none, but I did take some to the charity shop.
I feel a bit bad now, but we asked for no presents, just book tokens or money as ds has so many toys. In fact, I wouldn't have minded if people got him nothing.
So I was fuming to get a shed load of big plastic crap.
grrrrr

HM, I know what you mean. MIL asked what DD wanted so I gave her a list with a few items highlighted as preferred over the others, the list was titled 'ideas', as she has gained two more grandchildren this year no way was I expecting or even hoping she got her even half the stuff. She led us to belive she had got everything between her and my SIL. Then when the day came, there was hardly antything off the list, but there was a tone of craft stuff that I will have no time to do with her as I have a 3 week old baby. Not to mention where I had specified a dressing gown with a character DD is in to, when she could'nt get it she substituted it for the same thing with someone DD has no interest in!!

Alas my IL's know my e-bay accoutn name or i would be makng some pennies on there!
