In-laws. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

They are so bloody annoying. Felt sorry for them as they were on their own for Christmas (we did last year, SIL buggers off to France skiing when it's her turn) so invited them for Xmas Day 2 on New Year's Day. So yet again we go to the expense of hosting PIL and SIl's family. MIL announces today that she wants to give our nephews their presents tomorrow instead of on New Year's Day. So disappointed as we've saved loads of presents thinking we were having a second Christmas all together. Every time I try to make a nice gesture they manage to wind me up good and proper. There, have vented my spleen...

How about next year you go away somewhere -or tell the in-laws (my brother called his the out-laws btw!) that you're going away and stay home?

ooo cunning idea, I like it. We're moving nearer my family in a month's time so plan to have a big Christmas with them at our new house. I think out-laws is perfect!

I always did have an evil streak...! Actually, I'm lucky, my out-laws live in California - great for a holiday once a year, but they don't pop round too often.
