ds was enormously happy to unwrap a remote control 'mater' (from Cars) midmorning christmas day. It was his main pressie from us/ santa.
So... by mid afternoon the steering stopped working; it needed new batteries by this morning; and just before tea today the remote control stopped working all together.
poor little darling coped very well without it as it is now back in the box and waiting to be returned later in the week.

Some tat from Hawkins bazaar - as recommended by someone on MN! Gee thanks!

Strange funny face balloon key ring things - meant to be able to mould the face into different grimaces etc. Got one for each of the DSs.

First one, the hair fell off within seconds of play (and with it the key ring)

Second one had exploded with a cloud of flour all over the living room... pah!

My box of chocs were fairly short-lived too

Woke up this morning to find ds (2) hitting it against the wall (in time with his singing) It is completely smashed.

we will use a bit of ds christmas money to buy a new one.

Got some lovely little ceramic wine charms today from DH's family approx 1.30 DD managed to smack one off the table at lunch & break it! She's 5, they were little Christmas ones & the robin was just dancing when she smashed his feet. Fortunately her wine glass it was attached to was a plastic picnic one.

Ds got a car ramp thingy that took about 4 hours to put the darn thing together and was broken about 2 mins later when ds tripped and landed on it. (Extra sturdy, 3 level car ramp!!! yeah right!!!

Walkie talkies that dh wont let ds1 have as they need watch batteries, that cost 4 times the value of the toy.

Light sabre type thing, already confiscated.

All chocs gone to work with dh so I dont eat them.

Quite a few doubles, gone into the present box to save for use later in the year.
