I've got until 15th Jan to try and exchange a coat that my Dad got me as it's too small. Will be accompanied by my sister whose gift is also too small. I suppose we should be flattered that he thinks we are such tiny little things .

whoopsfallenoffthexmastree Thats so cute of your DS. Lots of kids would be mad that their pressie does not work. I think an extra little pressie for him would be good idea, to show him how good he has been over his pressie not working.

I am going to be taking some outside lights I got from Tesco back to them the next time I go into town. Most of the bulbs have gone rusty and it has stopped them from working. I don't expect outside lights to go rusty in 1 month!

Don't forget you can't exchange/return to next until Friday

ELF1981 · 26/12/2006 20:53

got to exchange a game I brought my DH but that's it.
Other than that, it's finding time to go to the charity shop to get rid of some of dds old teddies etc to not only make way for the new stuff but to make sure she can get in her room in the first place!!

We tried to return some stuff to River Island on Wed but they weren't doing returns. Not sure quite how legal that is, but as queues were so vile can hardly blame them. Dd got a v small handbag as a present from there - looked about 7.99 worth but was apparently 25.00!! Makes my Mulberry Effie bag look a positive bargain imo! Also v naff belt from River Island apparently cost giver £20. Such money for such crap!

i have a creative that is very temperamental as well! broke, then worked so didnt return, then broke again, returned and sent a new one back, then broke again emailed about returning and it started to work again!!

will be returning a pram suit size 0-3 - ds is 6 months old! friend said all the hangers were different to the actual sizes so as he didnt want to get it wrong and it be his fault for not looking properly he got sales assistant to get one 6-9 months. she somehow managed to get 0-3 months. did she not think it looked a bit small for a 6 -9 month one? he hadn't seen ds since he was 2/3 months and doesnt know any other babies so i wouldn't expect him to know how big a 6-9 month outfit should be, but she works in a baby shop and looks at them all day!!

will also be returning an outfit 9-12 months. i'm all for buying the next size up but when he is 9 months it will be april - they bought him a thick fleecy tracksuit thing!

although 2 things really isn't that bad!
