Just finished what I hope is my last conference call for work. I've still got a pile of email to get through so...

House a mess.
Random presents bought.
No presents wrapped.
No food bought.
There might be some champagne lurking in the back of the pantry.
Absolutely cannot be bothered to cook a turkey.
Nanny will be going on holiday in 2 minutes time and won't return until after the New Year.
Cleaner left ages ago and won't be back for weeks.

Feeling surprisingly chilled!

bossykate · 22/12/2006 18:04

I've lost motivation.

Doen all shopping etc but kids and Dh in moods, i'm disappointed (took the teachers gifts in yesterday, oxfam gift plaus a bar of choccy. Got letters thanking for choc, but apparently they opened enveloped, looked at pic on outside of card and then put in the rubbish pile. Glad that it was what it was tho, at least not wsted mney- imagine if there's been a voucher in there...)

Finishing wrapping tonight (oh joy), DH working tomorrow and then off to mum's Sunday, eating out that night and Dad cooks on the day.

I'll be glad when its time to go, tbh.
