my dh bought one in 'eplay' in Milton Keyens last Wednesday - they had 10. Should think they've all gone by now though

Tbh, if you haven't pre-ordered or found a shop that had stock by now, I doubt you will get one before Christmas.....sorry (and hope I'm proved wrong!)

agree with ktreepee, they're going on ebay for stupid money, you're very, very, very unlikely to get one until after christmas

nintendo only made a certain number for sale b4 xmas. tesco had i thkn 20 for ALL their stores. its too late to post anything now so online is no good, think your looking at feb when they come out properly sorry!

Sorry to be a killjoy but I heard a story that they had to recall a load of them as when people were swinging them around the batteries flew out and smashed the telly - had to giggle though

hadn't heard that one , but there is an issue re the strength of the wrist strap here

I think the big Tesco extra stores sell them.

Not unusual to find deliveries come in 2-3 days before Xmas - I had the same situation when I decided to buy DH a playstation a few years ago. His mates had been searching for them for weeks; I went shopping on Xmas Eve and there were huge piles of them in the shops!

I think it's deliberate - you feel bad they'll be nothing so you go out and do a massive guilt spend and then end up seeing the product you want and buying anyway. By then you've wrapped the other stuff and can't be bothered to take it back. (But my DH says I'm a conpiracy theorist!)

well the strap broke on ours this morning - ds2 (age5) was ten pin bowling - hardly rough stuff

it is a really poor design though - a pathetic thin cotton thread joining the strap to the controller.

( controller hit the mantelpiece BTW not the TV)

it said on the radio that they will replace the straps for free with something better.
