hanging christmas cards

i have no where to put our christmas cards. whats the best way to hang them from a door or wall. thanks

ive got an over the door card hanger in the shape of Santa and it means they are out of the way.

I tape the cards to a piece of sparkly silver thread (or I use that invisible, fishermans thread) and hang it over a nail that already holds up a picture. So, all our cards hang down from pictures on the wall. Or you can attach the thread from one picture to the next, leave it a bit loose so it hangs nicely (not straight) & stick the cards on that.

I stick a length of wrapping ribbon (you know, the shiny stuff that comes in small rolls) to the top of our shelves on a drawing pin and use some tiny gold clothes pegs that I got for buttons from the Works. Very cheap, dead easy, there are infinite places to hang the ribbons from, and it looks nice.
