Stockings for our mums - what would you put in?

I was thinki8ng, little bottle of bubble bath, some chocs and some pens.

it just occurred to me, my mum has nobody who makes a stocking for her, and neither does dp's mum, but don't really want to spend a lot as we have bought presents for them.

any other little dinky ideas? both women are in their 50's, one a 'younger' 50's than the other

Prob should start another thread but what do you suggest for fil/bil etc as I'd really like to do stockings for everyone? Thinking torch, penknife, car scraper, miniature whisky, chocs.....

Hi - women in their 50s are just women who like things women like ie please don't pit them into an old lady category. They may have more things than you but they still like the things you like. They'll have different tastes of course - just like you differ from your friends - but that's it.

I used to by for my "maiden" aunt things I thought old ladies liked - lavendar whatsits and doilies (she was in her 40s). When I grew up I got to know her and now she is in her 70s I buy her history books because that's what she likes. No more purple smellies!

Thanks Bluesky. It's my dad's first Christmas since mum died and as he and inlaws will be with us, want to make sure he's not left out.
