HELP. Good clothing brand for 35 male?

I have a 35 year old male relative to buy for. He is keen on updating is wardrobe and image a bit and I wondered which brands are acceptably fashionable without being too pricey. Eg. Is superdry too young and is next to runnof the mill. Was hoping to spend around £30 so not keen on going for top designer but more high Street without being boring and stayed. Anyone have any shops/brands that would fit the bill. He wants to look a little less civil servant and a little more surfer/rugged if that helps.

Gap. They have a sale on right now too.

I've bought my 36 OH a shirt from Fat Face. Most his clothes seem to come from there or Blacks. Quite surfy/casual without being too young and reasonable price...

My BIL is 36 and asked for Superdry hoodie, if that helps?

DH is 28 and bought some jeans and a shirt from Jack Wills, which really suit him and doesn't look too young and wanky.

He has some polo tops from SuperDry, although the Hollister ones have been better value and have worn better as well. They also have a nicer range of colours online.

Becks and Hersey or Fly53.
