So what are you getting for christmas?????????????

I have been asked by mil what would like for christmas and have no idea..most exciting thing I could come up with was an ironing board as mine has been broken for 8mths but cant afford a new one. She said thats fine but would like to get something for me and I honestly cant think of anything.

From Mum - M&S vouchers and a handbag
From dh - Teachers dvd boxset
from friends - most likely chocs and wine
From Mil - usually hat, scarf and gloves or diary or toiletries

Mine are quite dull, ice cream maker, yoghurt maker, mincer, pasta maker, gardening vouchers and an artifical orchid.

Wow. My MIL would be THRILLED if I wanted an ironing board. Last year she gave me.....a plastic microwave omelette maker!!

lol becky..thing is she moans because I dont ask for things for me..last year I asked for pans. IT is the stuff I need replacing but cant afford to but she says I put too much into house and kids and nothing into me..she is very sweet btw.

Dh - A Huge sewing tin (he bought me a sewing machine for my birthday!) We have tins galore at our house. Dh collects them, and kids get novelty tins too.!!!!

My parents - no idea most probably a jumper and chocs.

DH - GHD straightners, and a surpise he has me

(dh is usually crap at xmas - this is his 1st year of getting in festive mood before 24th - used to blame this on PIL being JW but think it is just a man thing)

My mum is buying me a digital radio and my brother is buying me the Gary Barlow bok and some other unknown TT related item (hoping it's the album).

I have no idea what my mum is getting me, or PIL and step MIL, or MIl and step PIL. With the latter, if past years have been anything to go by it won't be interesting!
DH and i always write out a few suggestions of things that we would like. This year i had
Leathe gloves, Peter Kay book, new Ian Rankin book, new slippers, perfume and some PJ's. he also always buys me some nice underwear - and it always fits

a watch off my sis
a top and jeans off my mum
a book off exp p
some smeelies from the kids and
money off my two grand mothers oh and
some chocs off ex's family

My lovely dad sent money so DH and I are having dinner out somewhere nice at the weekend. I want a night away in a hotel with DH as my pressie, so on Christmas day he'll probably get me some books, choccies, perfume etc. MIL will either give me some chocolates she's picked up at the pound shop, or something she has found in a charity shop.

LOL bundle nah won't be needing them for another 6 months at least

See DH and I arent getting presents for each other as cant afford it [apart from the slippers and dvd have got him from DC]. I really dont know what to ask for...am I really that boring I dont know what I like...

maybe either a box of chocs or a leather belt or nothing as too skint!

Some perfume, maternity PJs, Good Housekeeping subscription and books. Can't wait!

From my mum- A coat and other small suprises.
Dp- Some new ghds, an outfit, and some small bits and bobs.
Brother- prob a dvd boxset or something.
Dps mum- Have no idea.

No idea what the rest of the family are getting me but DP has bought me black leather boots, Jo Malone stuff and some CDs that I know of.

My mum is very excited about what she has bought me though so I'm excited too!

books, cds, dvds not sure what though, my Mam asked me for a list a while ago.no idea about the aunts/uncles.

I don't know which is what makes it soooooo exciting!!!!

DH is buying me (at my request) a swiss army knife, I want one with scissors on!! We don't usually do gifts for each other only silly things. Other gifts I am getting

MIL - pans
Parents - screwdriver thing
Older sis - kettle
little sis - buys for my DCs as she doesn't have any yet and we buy for her and her girlfriend

Chocolates always a winner, something nice smelling to put in the bath for that rare opporunity where my 3.5yr old doesn't strip himself and climb in, wine to drink with DH whilst DCs in bed

I'm already using my pressie . My old laptop (was sh off ebay) gave up the ghost so DH got me a new one. It is my joint 40th birthday and Christmas pressie though so I got to have it on my birthday .

I haven't got a clue what anyone else is getting me, they are all very secretive!
