My ds 7 has requested a budgie and a dyson for the last 3 years, poor Santa was lost for words last year! Anyone else had a odd request?

Aw i love these, when DD1 was 3 she wanted magic reindeer dust to fly with - she got it but santa did leave a note explaining, sadly it only works on north pole reindeers.
DD1 is now 7 and wants a few normal things, but top of her list is an electric pencil sharpener.
I shouldn't be surprised, a few years ago her favourite birthday present was a pack of polly pockets (not the toy, the plastic ones you put in folders with obviously very important papers mainly lists in DDs case)

Did asked for a wall one Christmas and last year asked for Tinkerbelle sunglasses which are surprisingly hard to find in winter. Managed to find some and she was over the moon. Both dds are getting pink tac in their stockings this year they will be pleased

Pink blutac?!?! I want some of that Smile

Ds1 age 11 wants yak wool. A long story, yak was used by dcs instead of insulting words they're not allowed to use. Then they got interested in yaks...

A white sliced loaf is often requested by dd. She wanted one as I always make her eat wholemeal bread.

GooodMythicalMorning · 17/12/2015 21:59

Dd asked for a lightbulb Confused

DS3 (13) really just wants tea. He is obsessed with tea. He has a tea advent calendar - different type a day (some of them are vile).

whojamaflip · 17/12/2015 22:12

My ds (12) has asked for Ella's kitchen pouches Hmm he has been slightly obsessed with them since his sister was born 10 years ago - and yes he's getting several in his stocking. Grin

NiceAcorns · 17/12/2015 22:25

A chicken that flies in the air and does tricks, is what my DD wants.

Does Amazon sell those?

Notgoodtogo · 17/12/2015 23:00

A plunger! Think I will get him one but not sure what he'll do with it? Can he do any damage???

TheOddity · 17/12/2015 23:15

DS (3) asked for a scarf. He has a scarf which he hates to wear. Think it was after watching The Snowman and seeing Santa giving that to the little boy.

Oh, and a specific (but dull looking) white hot wheels car that is £2.50 but mean mummy wouldn't buy on a whim so close to Christmas yesterday, so now it is burning a hole in his wish list and all he talks about.

slicedfinger · 17/12/2015 23:18

DD3 (11) asked for a food dehydrator. Hmm

lostlalaloopsy · 18/12/2015 08:07

Ds who will be 4 next month wants Santa to turn him into a teeny tiny person so he can go in my ear and see my brain. The fact that he's never seen my brain has been bothering him!

traviata · 18/12/2015 08:20

lovelydiscusfish has your DD seen the books Arabel's Raven?

OTOH they might just encourage her..
