Bloody slow cooker has been off long enough for then to cool down. Is it safe to just switch it back on and hope the eggs in the pud won't kill us??

You can cook and reheat and cook and reheat Christmas puddings: they just get richer and richer the more you steam them. Eat and enjoy! (Unless you've already binned - but at least you'll know next time...)
