OP posts:

Yes, but could also branch out, as the pregnancy creams are fine but usually quite bland and not designed to be too luxurious or sexy, and are mainly to stop you itching or whatever. Closer to E45 than Chanel.

Beautiful nail varnish (might as well enjoy while you have time)? Hair treatment, good mini hairspray, and turban towel?

AlohaMama · 11/12/2015 13:59

At this stage shes probably feeling all of the lack of glamour of being pregnant so anything that feels a little luxurious, like nice toiletries, lovely handcream is great as once baby is born she will be doing lots of hand washing.

Hangingbasket14 · 11/12/2015 14:29

Cat themed adult colouring book and pencils.

ClosedAuraOpenMind · 11/12/2015 21:13

the Neals Yard pregnancy bath oil is bliss.....v relaxing and moisturising

fraggle84 · 12/12/2015 11:21

Mini toiletries for her hospital bag?

herecomesthsun · 12/12/2015 12:21

I would not have wanted nail varnish, as only wear it on my toes, and could not reach toes 3rd trimester...

SpendSpendSpend · 12/12/2015 12:25

I wouldnt get anything pregnancy related as the xmas present is for her personally.

Does she like cosmetics? Bodyshop are doing some great offers at the moment

DropYourSword · 12/12/2015 12:32

Not in UK so unsure of cost, but how much is a pedicure voucher...difficult to reach those toes!

jeanmiguelfangio · 12/12/2015 12:59

If you go the body shop route they have a £5 voucher, no minimum spend in the mail i think tomorrow (could be a different paper)
when i was pregnant I would have loved chocolate, a book, i liked the cat colouring book up thread too

munkisocks · 12/12/2015 21:25

I'd actually ignore the pregnancy aspect as she might be weighted down with family and friends buying pregnancy things. Maybe something like some lush bath bombs.

Lovelydiscusfish · 12/12/2015 23:14

Whenever I have an SS person who likes a particular animal (or certain breed of that animal), I get them a calendar featuring the animal, from Pets at Home or similar. I fondly I imagine that they will feel it shows a certain amount of thought/personal consideration.

WhoKn0wsWhereTheMistletoes · 12/12/2015 23:21

I wouldn't get a pedicure voucher unless you definitely know it's something she'd enjoy. Bath stuff is hit and miss too, I stopped having baths after about 6 months each time as it was so awkward getting in and out. Handcream is a good idea though.

NerrSnerr · 12/12/2015 23:24

I went through so much peppermint foot spray from Body Shop when pregnant.

VoldemortsBaubles · 13/12/2015 01:17

I've bought my pregnant secret Santa an adult colouring book and pens/pencils. I thought it would be quite therapeutic and something to pass the time away while she is in the final stages.

Casablanca78 · 13/12/2015 18:57

I'm currently 32 weeks pregnant and wouldn't be interested in Nail varnish or pedicures I'm afraid. Long since lost interest in how my feet look!

Suffering from lots of aches and pains so warm baths are a great relief - the neals yard pregnancy bath oil sounds lovely!

NerrSnerr · 13/12/2015 19:03

There are lots of people mentioning adult colouring books. Just check it's their kind of thing, I'm a person who likes crafts etc but wouldn't use a colouring book.

Icklepickle101 · 13/12/2015 19:04

I recently treated myself to an 'Nspa mum to be set' and at 33 weeks pregnant I look forward to using it every evenjng!! Think you can order/pick up from Asda for about £10

I got mine from TK Max for £5.99 so might be worth checking there if you had a local one!
