Woodwick crackling candles - are they good?

I hope so 'cause I've bought a few for presents. To me they look and smell nice but was wondering do they really crackle, and it is pleasant or irritating?!

Yesss the crackle is lovely and makes a room really cosy. I love my woodwicks

I love mine too, the scent isn't too overpowering and the noise isn't too loud, just a gentle crackle.

I love WW and the crackle isn't irritating. I've got the berry trio on the go right now.

BTW I bought the Cinnamon Chai and the Cherry Bark because they looked and smelled Christmassy.
Lots of hate on MN for Boots 3 for 2s, but guess what these were!

Everyone in my house complained about the noise :/ the smell was lovely though :)
