Anyone got any great ideas what to put in baby's first Christmas stocking? He is 8months so I know it will mean nothing to him but want to get in the festive spirit! Thanks!

My DS was 6 months old on his first Christmas; from memory, we put in some teething rings and few bath toys (one of them, a sort of tube with a mechanism that the water spins through, is something he still plays with now). I think we also had a stuffed toy poking out of the top. Oh! And one of those wind up wooden mice which cracked him up no end Grin

A cuddly toy, a book he can chew on, a toy that lights up and makes a noise if you shake it, a bowl and spoon set, snuggly mittens and soft soled slippers, a cute hat with ears, a Christmas bib, Milky Bar buttons.

Elc do great sets of vehicles with magnets that stick together. Babies and toddlers love them

Last yr ds2 was 5weeks old and we put wooden rattles n weaning spoons/pots in as would need them anyway.

This yr he will be 13mths and has some little books, wooden cars, wooden instruments and will get some organix flapjack bars.

When ds was 10 months old, he got a:-

Teddy Bear
2 x Nursery Rhyme CD
Stacking Cups
Elmo's World DVD
2 x Chunky Police Cars - £1 each from Tesco
Remote Control - A real one from Poundland
Wooden Bus - From Primark, not sure if they have similar in this Christmas
Puzzle
Fisher Price Stack and Roll Cups - Charity Shop
Rattles x4 - From a bundle on Ebay

You could put baby socks, bibs, dummies and Farley's Rusks in.

Enjoy Christmas with your little one Xmas Smile

Laughing at the remote control! He has one claimed now already. Great ideas I forgot about toothbrushes in stockings! He has a tooth now so I can put a new one in for him. Great ideas everyone! Thanks. Smile
