please can anyone help me with doll stuff

My DD is obsessed with dolls. I've brought her a new wee baby born doll because she's been trying to potty train her very loud crying doll she has a push chair and changing bag but I've been looking for clothes and maybe some bits for her doll but the clothes are ridiculously expensive so was wondering if anyone knows of anywhere that sells them at a decent price and if there are any dolls accessories that don't look like they could brake so easily? We have baby born and went to charity shops looking for premature baby stuff. Otherwise ebay, primark etc. Also recycled some of my kids blankets. Places like bm bargains 9ften have cheap dolls accessories.

I've been looking on eBay at the clothes but some of the other bits look a bit fragile like the baby bouncer so I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for things that aren't going to be easily broken by a heavy handed 3 yo

Charity shops are a good idea hasn't though of that

Our Boots had a sale rail with tiny baby sized stuff on last week. Outfits were only £3. I'd have a look there in case the Boots near you is doing the same.

We went the prem baby clothes route too. 3 - 5lb size seemed about right.

ELC do a wooden high chair, DD also had a travel cot. One like this which folded in the same way as the real one seemed to be stronger than the ones which slot together, and much quicker to get out/put away too.

bouncer The one DD plays with at my mums, she childminds so anything which lasts for her gets my vote.

The bouncer chair is the kind of thing I had in mind thank you the cot in not so sure as DD likes to pretend to be s baby aswell so might break easily but thank you

I have bought all of dd's baby doll accessories from supermarket toy sections - Sainsburys and Morrisons. The stuff was all really cheap - for example got a big box set with a baby doll, bath, towel, toy duck and various other bits from Sainsburys for about £3.50. The doll is dd's favourite as it wees! And she and her friend are obsessed with bathing it in the bath, in "real water"! I've noticed Morrisons have a lot of cheap baby doll stuff, as well. Not sure how hard wearing any of this is, but all plastic, so likely to be reasonably tough!

Sorry, the second time I mention Morrisons in my last post was meant to say Wilko's. I believe they do nappies for baby dolls too, if that would appeal to your dd?

Newborn baby real nappies work out much cheaper if your doll is made to wee a lot! Buy a supermarket brand smallest size and pull to tightest fitting. We use morrisons and fits baby born and annabelle

Not in Uk so can't help with specific shops but had similar problem last year. Found a cheap doll set in discount toy shop that came with two extra outfits and just kept clothes and let doll go. Would have passed it up if I was looking at the doll because it was very flimsy. Worth poking around cheaper stores.

I've had to buy TWO sodding Baby Borns as both DDS want one and there's not a hope of them sharing. I got the branded outfit set too from Toys R Us, it has 3 outfits in for 14.99 (supposedly half price...)
Excellent tip about buying prem baby nappies instead of the branded Baby Born ones!!! Will pick some up in the supermarket.
Asda currently have a lovely wooden dolls cot in their wood toy range. I've bought a few things from the range in the last year or so and been very pleased with the quality. I think the cot is about 25 quid but it looks sturdy.

I have found £1 shops brilliant for things for dd's dolls, I got a set of 5 little flannels, a hooded bath towel, a bib and hat set, a brush and comb set, wipes - and I also agree to buy supermarket brand newborn nappies £3 for 20ish, rather than a pack of 5 dolls ones!

There's a website called Frilly Lily that sells really sweet dolls clothes and accessories, they aren't that cheap, but less than baby annabell etc, and really lovely quality!

Lastly, bhs sell matching child and dolls pjs and nighties - they're adorable
