If anyone else's kids are obsessed with Paw Patrol......

I bought 2 Paw Patrol stocking fillers in the 99p shop today: A giant bubble stick and a glow-stick thing with a Marshall picture on the end, looks a bit like a wand.

Was nice to find something Paw Patrol which was not super-expensive!

FabFlo · 02/12/2015 14:40

Is anyone else having problems with the Claires website. Everything keeps reverting back to normal price when I add it to basket

nocutsnobuttsnococonuts · 02/12/2015 14:50

sirniall in poundworld they have paw patrol toothbrushes and toothpaste. In tesco they had nightlights in the shape of the pups, they had rubble, Marshall and chase for £5. Asda had a dinner sets cup/plate/bowl for £5 and hoodies/jogging bottoms. The entertainer had massive reusable paw patrol bags for £1.50, space hoppers £6 and magnetic scribbler pads for £5. I ordered a rubble teddy of amazon for £5.20 and was v good quality and came quickly!

Can u tell I have a paw patrol obsessed daughter too! ! [Grin]

Fabflo when I went to thorntons yesterday in store it was 3 for 2 on everything.

SirNiallDementia · 02/12/2015 14:59

Itsonly do you have any more Yankee deals? I need to buy something Yankee for a colleague in the office Secret Santa, max spend £10.

I have no idea what to get as I don't like the things myself!

FabFlo · 02/12/2015 15:01

d270r0 - Thank you!

ChristmasFairyLights · 02/12/2015 15:20

neddle we have audible and all love it. The books are yours to keep forever and you can cancel easily at any time. Also they let you return any book you don't like for whatever reason, even if you've listened to all of it.
Make sure you sign up for the deal of the day emails because I've had lots of bargains for two or three pounds each.

ladydepp · 02/12/2015 15:25

Graham and Green 15% off GG15Gift, they have some gorgeous Christmas decorations!

y0rkier0se · 02/12/2015 15:31

Everything but the continental parcel boxes and £15 continental boxes are 3 for 2 in Thorntons at the minute and if you ask the staff for a gift guide there are some vouchers in the back - £5 off when you spend £30 or £15 off when you spend £50. Can be used with 3 for 2. I work at Thorntons Grin

AllyourGreens · 02/12/2015 15:38

SirNiallDementia in an earlier thread another mnetter who's name I cannot recall (sorry!) posted about a two pack of Paw Patrol toothbrushes available at Pound World, just thought I'd mention it in case you hadn't seen it and might be interested in those.

SirNiallDementia · 02/12/2015 15:46

Ooh thanks Allyourgreens, DS hates brushing his teeth so Paw Patrol toothbrushes could help!

Jenni2legs · 02/12/2015 16:27

Freezingwinter · 02/12/2015 17:07

Theres some paw patrol stuff on groupon today I think!

Has anyone seen some not expensive but nice looking reed diffusers anywhere please? Also looking for nice ladies slippers!!

zipzap · 02/12/2015 17:29

Givemestrength and Whatsonyourpate - many thanks for explaining the offer. Or lack of offer as it now is! Glad it wasn't me being ditzy and not understanding (it's been that sort of week so far!)

Also - I popped into OneStop after school today and they have some chocolates on a 3 for £5 deal. Some of the chocolates are normal price £2 so just a small saving. However lots of them were £3-£4 and some were £5 - obviously I bought 3 of the £5 boxes of chocs. It was the Guylian Seashells - not sure that they are actually worth £5/box but checking them out on MySupermarket most places seem to have them for about £3 so it's still a good deal when they're £1.70 a box! I figured they'd be good for keeping by me if I need an emergency present --and hopefully for me to eat in January when the dc go back to school and I'm catching up on a bit of down time Xmas Grin

Fueledwithfairydustandgin · 02/12/2015 17:30

Ballet girl mum bean boozled?

zipzap · 02/12/2015 17:31

freezing Sainsburys always seem to have nice smelling diffusers at very reasonable prices. They have a very nice smelling figgy pudding one at the moment (well, assuming it smells like the candle, I didn't get it out)

Failing that (especially if it's a gift and you don't want it to be a supermarket thing) TKMaxx are often a good source for diffuser bargains. Next often has some quite nice ones too.

ShebaQueen · 02/12/2015 17:44

Hi Freezing, not sure how much you want to spend, but there are some gorgeous reed diffusers on Achica and if you've not ordered from them before you can get £10 off your first order.

SitsOnFence · 02/12/2015 18:09

Gotrovo (treasure hunt game) is on Amazon lightening deals until 6:50pm at £13.80. No idea if this is a good price, but I remember lots of discussion about it on earlier threads and it seemed like a really good price.

TheFairyCaravan · 02/12/2015 18:26

Don't know if it's been posted but some Lego, Playmobil and PlayDough advent calendars are half price at Argos

CadenceRoastingByAnOpenFire · 02/12/2015 18:35

admiral, thank you ever so much for checking your wh smith receipts for me, I love the willingness to help others on this thread, true christmas spirit FlowersXmas Smile.

As luck would have it they had the three busy books I wanted in asda (never had them in stock whenever I've looked before!).

I've seen the book 'father christmas needs a wee' recommended on here a few times and I was keeping an eye on the price on amazon, boom people etc but I saw it in asda as part of the two for £7 deal so I picked it up with Room on a Broom, that's cheaper than I've seen it anywhere else. I also bought dd a set of three julia donaldson books for £5 in sainsbury's, one was stick man, one was tabby mccat or something, can't remember the third but thought that was a good price! Dd has never read any julia donaldson before but people seem to rave about them. They're usually televised at Christmas as well aren't they? Does anyone know if one is going to be televised this year and if so, which one?

Reastie · 02/12/2015 18:38

Freezing tkmaxx and home bargains have lots of diffusers in the ones near me.

Oops I posted too soon. Also wanted to ask about the charades for kids game. Seen it recommended here but wondering if it would be suitable for a just turned 5 year old? If there was reading involved someone could help her read the card bit otherwise would it be okay for her to play do you think?
