Mine is getting:

New plastic dinosaurs for his collection (
Braciasaurus, Carnataurus and Parasaulophus)
Dinosaur onesie
Dinosaur storybook and wallchart (Cheers poundland!)

From my Mum and Dad he's getting:
Dinosaur puppets
Dinosaur Train station and Time Tunnel for his Brio track
Pop gun

I have got the twitch and am seriously considering:

this rather fine dinosaur tail
A pirate telescope and "treasure" (chocolate coins)
A highwaymans hat to go with his pop gun (Big fan of Julia Donaldson "Highway Rat")

A big balance bike, lots of books (he would read all day), jigsaw - 4 in a box and dinosaur dress up. Plus a kaleidoscope and world snap playing cards for his stocking. I'm getting him one or two more things - possibly a talking buzz light year and microphone/voice changer.

My parents - playmobil and clothes.

A wooden train set and books plus stocking bits. We don't buy much as she doesn't really enjoy opening presents. After the 3rd present she's bored of it!
No idea what family are buying for her. She will end up with lot's from them though.

Toddler Elsa (£15 in wilkos!), marble run, snakes & ladders, one of those drawing activity books and then some little stocking bits and bobs - stencils, ink pads for her stamp set, nail gems (she is OBSESSED), smarties tube, etc - nothing over a few quid. Need to find a nice barbie that doesn't cost ridiculous money and then that's her done. She is the only niece/nephew & grandchild though so the family tends to go a bit overboard!

From us:
Playmobil pirate ship
Doctors kit
Dolls bottles, bibs etc set (DS2 is due in January and he is baby obsessed at the moment, he has a baby doll that goes everywhere with him!)
Craft stuff - paint blotters, dinosaur stamping set
Sticker book
Some new books
Aldi plastic dinosaur
Need to get some little bits for his stocking.

From family:
Pirate dress up
Sword and shield (I might regret that one!)
Playdough icecream factor
Dolls pushchair
Not sure what else! We are a big family on both sides and he normally gets quite spoilt.

She is getting walking Bing, sing along Elsa, Anna and Elsa dresses, light up Elsa shoes, Playmobil school bus, care bear, some my little ponies, some paw patrol figures, big cuddly peppa and George, crayola case with washable pens in it and lots of books and Melissa and Doug sticker books. Toy till and shopping basket with food. Far too much probably but I don't buy throughout the year.

Unlimited - it's from a little independent toy shop near to wear we live, I think it's a big jigs branded one :-) Just a little stocking filler. I ended up picking up a noisy police car from Elc today too, they've got a pretty good sale on. It was £4, down from £12 - so that's in place of the voice changer I think. Still undecided on a buzz light year, but might cave last minute on that one!

Thanks Bellejournee D's has been talking about telescopes and I'm in two minds about what would be most exciting: actual telescope with lenses or telescope shaped Kaleidescope.

DS is 3.5

From us he's getting:
-one of those Micro Mini Scooters
-a Marble run (because I looooved them as a kid)
-a Thomas and Friends Take & Play set (he specifically requested this one)

In his stocking:
-a reusable sticker book
-a Water Wow coloring book
-some phonics flash cards
-chocolate coins (also a request of his)
-some gingerbread men
-some sweets

I was wanting to get him some Paw Patrol things as he is crazy about the tv show, but when I ask him about a favorite character he just says "I like all of them!" And I don't really want to shell out for all the characters and a set. Blush

3.9. She's obsessed with Toy Story and so only really wants Jessie the cowgirl and Mrs Potato Head, which she's getting. Also an Elsa doll, a dress up set, snakes and ladders (though we might hold on to that until her birthday in Jan) and then a stocking with small things in - stickers, pens, hairclips, toothpaste and toothbrush (honestly gets very excited by this).

From other family members she's getting Duplo, and easel, and a new baby doll with clothes.

We're trying to be sensible and not buy her lots and spend money that doesn't need to be spent when we know she'll be happy with the few things we've got her. There'll be other years when she has her eye on more expensive things!

I'm the worst person ever to discourage twitching Blush have you seen the dinosaur that you are the legs and hold the head in front of you. Like you are riding it. Terribly described but I bought one for DS and think it looks great. Cheaper than the tail too
