I'm still waiting to hear whether Tesco will refund my £40 for the Xbox.

Canongate books have lots at half price (everything at least 25% off) - you get free delivery (very quick in my experience), and a free book included up until the 29th. They have the Matt Haig Xmas one for £6.49 which is cheaper than Amazon - they're putting a lot of money and effort into making sure it's a Xmas classic, so might be worth getting at that price!

I'm on a book roll just now . . . this one is famous films described quickly, their place in the genre, what directors did, that sort of thing.

Got it for £6 in Sainsburys - think it's £20 usually, cheapest is £12 online with postage on top. Might be nice for those who do hampers - few classic DVDs in with it?

Actually, I've just noticed that Movie book above is pre-order - not out until January 2016. Sainsburys do that a lot with books. Makes it even more impressive really!

I've just received a Contigo thermal cup I ordered for my DH.

Someone wanted personalised calendars earlier, photo of has up to 70% off until midnight tonight. I tend to use whoever has best deal, last year was Jessops. Going with photo of if I can pull my finger out and sort photos quickly!

I had a similar problem re Amazon returns. I clicked the contact me button on their app and they phoned in seconds (it's automated and they answer when you do)
Told them I'd changed my mind and they cancelled return. Took less than a minute

I've just plumped for Tesco photo calendar, because even with the Photobox sale, it's still cheaper at £5. Dead easy to upload as well. The fact that I couldn't remember my Photobox password may also have influenced my choice. [santa]
