Thanks for new thread Reastie!

I went to sainsburys tonight had forty pounds of nectar points. Was sooo disappointed. Literally had hardly any drink, nothing I need at all so ended up saying I'd get clothes thinking I could get one or two of the kids their Xmas party outfits. Changed vouchers, went over and the clothes were rubbish and hardly any stock. Spent over an hour and a half walking round it tonight. Ended up buying pj's which aren't needed and a hulk fancy dress costume.

Morrisons have magnums of canti prosecco for ten pounds!

Apparently flaviar are no longer running the referral credit scheme I saved a couple of referral credits for a while as terms and conditions said lasted six months and I checked out and order was cancelled as referral credit scheme has ended and they are not great at giving straight answers and take couple days each time to reply to email just they didn't think to cap it or put restrictions on it and been too popular but no real straight answers.

gingerfox - blackboard globe is Sainsburys

Pobsbits - Almost 3yo boy, has to be a paw patrol toy (new Everest dog would make you a HERO), anything from Octonauts or a monster truck toy (doesn't have to be blaze and monster machines)

Thornybird - some nice horsey and doggie stuff on NOTHS

ThornyBird · 23/11/2015 23:33

How did I not think of NOTHS face palm

Thank you President Smile

Pobspits · 23/11/2015 23:37

Thanks how could I have forgotten about oaw patrol?? I have got dd the busy book for xmas - maybe I could get him that too and pop up pirate as someone else suggested. Thanks everyone!

I do wonder at what point in the year you begin to dread the beginning of these threads Wink

ohhelpohnoitsa · 23/11/2015 23:57

namechanged they rarely have sales but there is a factoey outlet in Cheshire Oaks rerail village ... miht be worth ringing them. Or they often do decentish topcashback offers.

AdmiralCLingus · 24/11/2015 01:02

Not a bargain to share bit a request... looking for the cheapest way to send a vodka gift to a friend up north now that flaviar have stopped the referrals?

Ages ago someone was looking for espresso cups. Posh set of 4 (le crueset) coming up on Amazon lightening at 7:50. Ridiculous price normally, so hoping massive reduction.

Ingles2 · 24/11/2015 06:46

Thanks so much... I just got 40% off Gap jeans for my dh! Flowers

ThenLaterWhenItGotDark · 24/11/2015 06:48

Someone asked about L'Occitane codes, they used to do fantastic ones (like 30% plus the free gifts) but I've noticed over the last few years they've dwindled off. You can generally find their sets cheaper in places like Debenhams especially when they have codes.

Try signing up for their emails, they sometimes send specific offers to subscribers.

indyandlara · 24/11/2015 07:12

Zip zap thank you those sound ideal. Tonight I am going to throw all my marking into my school bags and head to the retail park and mooch though Asda and Dunelm.

NiceCupOfTeaAndASitDown · 24/11/2015 07:18

Thanks for the new thread!

Does anyone know where I can get a toy (preferably wood) sewing machine? DS 4.10 has asked Santa for one. He's really not ready for a real one. I've seen some fantastic ones on etsy from America but the postage costs are high and it probably wouldn't get here in time. Budget is about £20 all in if possible

Elvish · 24/11/2015 07:30

Admiral have you looked at Amazon for vodka? Might be easiest way without postage?

Awoof · 24/11/2015 07:31

Hi Reastie, thanks so much for this!

Kids Like Me is doing code winter10 for 10% off.

www.kidslikeme.co.uk

They're a lovely independent shop, I nominate them to go on the list!

LikeSilver · 24/11/2015 07:40

leaningtoweroflego · 24/11/2015 07:46

Can anyone recommend a decent remote control car that's really easy to use for little ones?

DS got a car last year and toddler DD loved it! Unfortunately it didn't last long, it broke within weeks.

I'd like to get them both a remote controlled car this year. (DS is 7, DD is nearly 3)

Also does anyone know any codes or sales on Lego / Duplo? Both DC love it (the big kids too Wink) I wish it was a bit more affordable!
